Can we tackle night PT? Anyone here w pointers or suggestions?
B has had some off/on dry mornings for months. But last week she had 5 dry mornings in a row so I thought she might be ready. Well of course, the last 2 nights in underwear, she has wet the bed. Maybe she's not ready. How will I know?

Same thing happened here so we've been back in night pullups for a few months now. Cadence us probably ready now, but she is still having doubts about it, so I'm letting her call the shots. She said she'll let me know when she's ready for panties in bed.

We weren't even trying to night PT then one day M said, I don't need diapers anymore! And she refused to wear them. She still has an occasional accident. But I just followed her lead. Maybe don't push it? I can't remember what we did w C. I think we bought him new bed sheets he got to pick out bc he was a big boy who didn't need diapers anymore. But C was a late potty trainer.

Just bite the bullet. Some accidents are normal. We talked it up for a while until Maggie stopped saying no to the idea of undies for bed. She had two accidents in the first three nights and has literally been dry ever since (and before that, her pull-up was almost always wet in the mornings, like I can't remember the last time it was dry).
We did a couple of other things to prepare her:
1. We stopped letting her keep her water cup in bed. She can still have water at bedtime, but just a few sips. She understands the correlation between how much she drinks and needing to go potty, so she doesn't usually fight us on this.
2. We put a brighter nightlight in the bathroom so she doesn't need to turn on the light to get there or use the potty.
3. We taught her how to unzip her footie pajamas only part way and just take her arms out. She only wears two-piece now, but initially she still had a couple of footies.
She has never woken us up to go to the bathroom MOTN, she just goes by herself and gets back in bed.
Just go for it and praise the heck out of her when she wakes up dry. We also told her when she was totally potty trained, she'd get a special day with me and DH while Ben was at school - we'd take her out go lunch, then to the movies (her first), and then for ice cream and the play place. She was super motivated by that. We were ready to call it after a week of waking up dry, but we ended up having to wait for the movie we wanted to come out, so it ended up that she was dry for 3 straight weeks before she got her reward.

We're still trying to get Day time PT down before we even think about nighttime. Diapers 4lyfe here.
