How do the weekends disappear so fast?

We're here! After a witching hour from hell (6-10:30) babe slept until 4:30 then again from 5-7. I'm trying to decide if that was worth it. I don't think so.
H went to back to work today so I'm alone with the kids! Fx we make it through the day.

Hi! It's a long weekend here for MH so it's nice with all the cleaning we've been doing to just hang! Today laundry, try to clean up our bedroom, dog needs a bath! And I'll do groceries with DD 1 and probably go see her grandparents.

After like 4pm she won’t stay asleep longer than 40 min and she gets over tired and fussy, but the last two nights she has slept 8 hours straight. I feel fabulous this morning, but the evenings are so tough.

Good morning ladies! I am so very tired. The baby slept pretty good. He woke up at 4:30 to eat but went right to sleep, pooped and then went back to sleep after he was swaddled again. I however didn’t sleep much. I fell asleep around 2:30, was up from 4:30-5 and then was up for the day at 6:45. MH was snoring like crazy and I feel awful. My throat hurts and I’m starting to get that really foggy head feeling. I have so much to do today. I have to grocery shop, we may buy a mini van and I have laundry to do. MH is home today but he has been barely helpful so far. I have to get into the shower soon. G’s teacher will be here at 9.

I packaged up all the dinner leftovers in Tupperware last night then this morning found said Tupperware in the sink. I guess I put it in the sink instead or the fridge. 🤷🤷🙈🙈

Baby is fussier than he’s ever been. He was crying hard at bedtime and it took me until midnight to get him down. Now he’s doing it again at 7am. I have my parents here for just 2 more mornings so I was really hoping to sleep in with Baby while DS1 is occupied. Oh well.
Picking up a huge grocery order later this morning and making 5 crockpot freezer meals today to have for when I’m on my own here soon.

MH let me sleep in this morning 🙌🏻 I feel like a million bucks. H slept ok last night (4hr stretch then a 2.5 then another 2), but after that 4hr stretch she was up for over an hour. It always ruins me when she dies that ugh. And she tends to do it whenever she has a good first stretch of sleep. I would much rather her do 3hr stretches so she actually goes back down.
Anyway, not much going on today. SIL is taking DD1 to her swim lesson this morning and I plan on tubbing the baby and starting some laundry. I’m overloaded with laundry again! It never ends does it??

Baby had a rough night (h was a huge help with it) and I woke up with a raging headache. DS1 has the whole week off of school and I kept him home to let him sleep in and save money and I already regret it. I’ve already raised my voice more than I care to admit.

It was ok. Pretty much with the pattern lately. Went to bed at 10 woke up around 2 to eat and the restless after 5. I'm just glad it wasn't worse.

+1 to all the laundry.
H has made it through the stomach bug & everyone else still healthy. DD1 is at the sitter (half day). I’m getting antsy to get out of the house so we are going to stop at the store before we pick her up.
When do babies typically stop pooping MOTN?

DD2 is almost 4 weeks old and is just phasing out the MOTN poops. She had one 2 nights ago but hadn’t had one a couple days prior to that and didn’t have one last night either

It's been a crazy weekend here. DH took DD to the children's emergency room on Friday night due to her increasing vomiting and her congestion. After taking her temp, checking her over and doing a urine culture, the Dr determined that she wasn't sick but was likely lactose intolerant. DD has been having really runny poops, a bum rash that has broken the skin, and progressively worse spit up and congestion for weeks. Unfortunately since switching formula early Saturday morning she has not pooped, so she is very cranky. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help a newborn poop?

DH has today off so we made waffles for breakfast - my big kids' favorite! No plans for today. We are trying to throw together last minute baptism plans for this weekend as my family all decided to fly in for a visit. I am also working on nursing school applications since I am apparently mid-life crisis-ing lol.

Not doing much today, just enjoying my last few days with DS as an only child. I had a little meltdown this morning thinking about it, I’ve been really good the whole pregnancy, but it’s starting to hit hard. We went to target this morning and picked out a present for DHs birthday, which is Wednesday and the day I’m being induced. Hanging at home the rest of the day.

sparky85 have you tried bicycling her legs? That can sometime help. I’ve also heard if taking the tip of the rental thermometer and inserting it slightly.

watermelonseed, Google says 4-6 weeks of motn poops. sparky85, that's so scary! Did you try a rectal thermometer to stimulate a poop?

kbw and benandjerrys thanks for the replies. We've been bicycling her legs, doing tummy massage and we tried using a qtip to stimulate her to go about an hour ago. So far no luck and she screams everytime she bears down. I've called our nurses line to see if I should be bringing her in after 48 hrs with no poop.

sparky85 no advice but L has the same problem since he’s on iron, doc says to only call if it’s been 4 days. Today is day 4. 😳 I think he’s working on it tho. Sorry about the scary vomiting. I am glad they figured out the problem tho.

TMI ALERT!
I had a vaginal birth with no tearing. I went to the restroom (bowel movement) a day or so later and no problem. I didn’t have any pain using the restroom daily for the next 2 weeks. Now all of the sudden I’m having terrible pain during and after going. I have not been constipated at all and am not straining to go whatsoever. I know hemorrhoids or fissures are normal but it seems so weird to pop up later after being fine.
Advice to treat? I know ppl suggest Miralax or Colace but I’m not backed up or straining at all.

I've mostly eaten desserts today! I started off strong with a healthy breakfast (beans and brown rice, with an egg and avocado, salsa and some cheese...we call this "breakfast deluxe" at our house). Since then, I had a little bit of leftover chicken and broccoli from dinner the other night and -a few spoonfuls of ice cream -a few spoonfuls of tiramisu -a very large piece of hubbard squash pie
No cookies yet but it's only 2pm. Also, it is DH's b-day so I picked up a couple of pieces of cheesecake and some more ice cream. I think we do have a healthy dinner for tonight though, a friend is bringing us something and she normally does a good job with well balanced meals. So at least my crappy eating day will be bookended with better stuff.
