I LOVED those....until S mastered chewing the straw top off. After she chewed through a few I ordered more, but she had mastered it by then and within a week she chewed them off again. That’s why I switched to the ones I linked above. The thicker straw that she hasn’t been able to ruin. I haven’t had any mold problems like you mentioned....yet.

On the topic of bathroom layouts.... I love the look of a big glass shower in the master bath, but dnw to be fully visible when showering. am I the only one? Our setup now is toilet and shower in the “water closet”, and the vanity and tub are in the main area. I prefer this. I'm way behind, but our master has the glass shower in the main area. You walk in and the shower is on the left, the bath tub in front of it (this is all along the west wall), the vanity takes up the north wall, the east wall has the door to the closet and the water closet. I just shut the doors when I don't want anyone to see me, but don't care much about H or E coming in when I'm in the shower. You don't want to see me naked, then don't come in...

Question to those that have a water closet... do y’all actually close the door every time you have to use the toilet? We have a water closet, but the only time I close it, is if I want to lock the door to keep M out. MH never closes the door either, which is annoying when he poops, but I’m kinda just shruggy about it. The only time I’m annoyed with him is if I’m in the bathroom getting ready or doing something that takes me a while, and he comes in to poop. Like, no. I was here first and will be for a while, so use the other bathroom. DNW to smell you for the next 10-15 min. I do not shut the door everytime. That room is so small, if I'm running in just to pee, nope. If someone follows me, then they can deal with it. If it's number 2, then yes, I close it, unless my H is gone. I call our water closet the 'coffin' because it's so small. Like, you can't sit and open the door all the way, the door barely clears the toilet bowl. I get kind of claustraphobic.

So all this bathroom talk, years ago I worked with a girl and we had this conversation...no clue how it ever came up, but the question was asked, do you go to the bathroom with your spouse in the room. I said no way. She said her and her husband never close the bathroom door, which means they have seen each other do all their business...including monthly business. A big HELL NO to that.

trtlcrzy I’m glad it went well. Do you have to go back to get stitches out? I’m not suppose to workout or lift anything more than 15 lbs until I get stitches out on the 26th. But mines also on my upper arm, so that could be why. Re: bathrooms. We have a WC and our actual bathroom doesn’t have a door. I don’t t close the ex door if I’m alone or just have to pee, but a huge no to pooping around dh. I make him use another bathroom.

lahdeedah Our last house had a w/c, and I would close it if mH was in our bedroom or bathroom (there was not a door b/n the bedroom and bath, it was just an opening). Or really anywhere in the house, TBH. If it was just me alone in the house or with only the kids around, I'd leave it open.

At what age do we make them give up the sippys? I'm tired of reassembling the damn things. B no longer gets any sort of sippy unless it's a true water bottle for sports class or whatever. When he's in the house, he drinks from a regular cup, no lid. If he wants to take water in the car I'll give him one of the aforementioned water bottles.

I'd love a W/C! There is a jack and Jill bathroom at my dad's with a w/c and a shower with doors, 2 vanities and 2 closets. It's lovely.
Right now my criteria is a half bath in the main floor. Apparently it's a thing to not have this in old houses around here...whyyyyy?!

I think that would be so great for the kids. Both of the houses we're looking at only have 2.5bathrooms. We are totally spoiled here because we have 3.5and both bedrooms are en suite baths. In either house, the goal would be to add a full bathroom to the basement in the next few years. MH and I do not want to share, so down to the basement he'd go!!

When I picked up C the teacher was waiting with an incident report for me to sign I was so relieved that C was the victim. The teacher was dying laughing. MOTY again today! I’ve actually never gotten one where he is the aggressor but I still assume it will happen. The bite broke skin but isn’t bad.

Also Cs best friend speaks Chinese. Today he came home saying “long hey fat toy” and he said it’s Chinese. I asked him what it means and he says it means “language” and says it with this face

Why does my sister's dog keep trying to eat Sinny's poop? I remember our bulldog trying to get into the litter box for a snack and he got his head stuck in the cover. It was hilarious. Why dogs eat poop is a mystery.

Why does my sister's dog keep trying to eat Sinny's poop? Dogs are gross. Our dog will eat the kid's poop. I know this from when C used the little potty and from a phase where he'd get naked during nap rebellion and poop all over his room... our dog also eats used tampons and anything else disgusting. He is disgusting.

Whew, I left work early with the worst indegestion/heartburn. So much pain. I've never felt it like that before. Thankfully I got some meds in and relaxed for a bit and felt better before getting the kids.

They are literally like 2cm long so she just put steri strips on and a shit ton of gauze and tape. I can’t shower or get my boob wet for 48 hours, no lifting anything heavier than a gallon of milk for the rest of today. I’m supposed to keep ice packs on and use Tylenol as needed. My other biopsy, for the mole, was a punch biopsy so it has 3 stitches. Next week I need to either remove them myself or go back to the derm to get them removed. She left it up to me.
