Yeah, we just use another bathroom if the other person is doing their business! DNW to see and pretty sure he doesn't want to see either. I mean if one of us accidentally walked in, I wouldn't be horrified or anything (though that's never happened), but we make a point to keep the mystery lol Not possible in my parents house.. The other bathroom is in their room and my dad was still sleeping this morning. If it was my mom I would have. Reason number 57384029 we need our house lol. And speaking of, the weather is great the next few weeks so we're not anticipating any problems with breaking ground! AH!!! I would have just straightened my hair in the bedroom or kitchen or something!

Does anyone have a pottery barn kids coupon? The Easter baskets are on sale so I want to order E's but if there is another discount it would make C happier.

inthekitty did you tell your friend you are driving solo? Could you sleep in your car or is the floor in the office more comfortable? It doesn't sound like an enjoyable weekend no matter what I didn't yet, but I think I will. I have this weekend off but work the next 3 weekends. 😲 So I want next weekend to be as painless as possible. Arriving super early for no reason and potentially lingering afterwards was not in my plan. He also proposed meeting up at our post. I was going to drive in civies and bypass the post and go straight to the site we'll be working at. I might drive the van for a sleeping option (I can't even put the seat down in my car because of car seats) but this is in the mountains so it'll be cold. Either way it's going to suck. 🤷♀️ I could pay out of pocket for a hotel, but I'm cheap and it would cut in a lot to my weekend pay basically resulting in me working for free.

SD has been sick this week. She took a day off school. Yesterday according to her mom "her fever didn't get above 99.6". But she should be fine to come to our place for the weekend. Ummm. This is most likely flu so we don't really want it spreading but she wants her to visit because it is the last weekend she would be able to see MH for the next 2months. Last thing we need is for MH to have the flu while he is in PR. I'm sad we won't be able to see her and E will be upset too. For Valentine's they filled out a questionnaire and he said he answered "loves it when..." "his sister comes for the weekend". I get why you wouldn't want to risk getting sick, but I'm pretty sure a sign of the flu is a high fever. 99.6 is low grade. She probably just has a little cold. I took Lue to the dr last week for a low grade fever and such, thinking she had an ear infection. They didn't even check for the flu since her temp never got over 100. I don't know what strain my kids got, but for both flu (a & b), neither fever went above 100.5. For N we thought it was an ear infection, but when that was fine they tested for the flu and that was it. I've also read about just some weird rash being the only symptom for some people. I'm over flu season. J and I are both home today, I think we either have a mild bug, neither of us ate dinner last night, but seem to be doing okay today. Nora's at school, so all the tv for j while I work.

I dropped h off at daycare and N’s teacher told me she’s the 8th preschooler to be out sick with vomiting today. Yuck. So obviously a bug of some sort.
WWYD? I’m afraid h will end up with this bug too. Should i keep them this weekend or send them if N is feeling better this afternoon?
Eta: SIL lives 1.5 hours away so it wouldn’t be a quick trip if I needed to get them. She also doesn’t have children so not much experience dealing with sick kids

Also the Disney Junior plus some other Disney apps have joined up to make Disney Now officially yesterday. I'm not a fan. I had to hunt down our go to shows and mark them as favorites. Anyone else try it yet? We've been using Dinsey Now for awhile. All the apps annoy me because they'll close out in the middle of games.

Morning! I'm at work. MH is going out of town for a fun weekend hitting up wineries and breweries up north with friends. Jealous! I'm jealous, too.

We try and not use the bathroom if the other is going potty but it sometimes happens. Especially if we are traveling.

A big HELL NO to getting ready in the bathroom at the same time/place where MH is pooping. So gross. Same. Never share the space. We have 3 bathrooms in our house. I have the master (which has a separate room for the toilet), H has the main, which E uses also. There is also a full bath downstairs. When E gets old enough, she can move down there and have the entire basement to herself, living area, bedroom and bathroom. It was a major selling point to me. I can't stand to share a bathroom since I had to with my ex. DNW to smell someone else's shit. Ever. I get irritated when people don't turn the fart fan on at work after they've done it and I don't have a choice.

See, we have a 3 bathroom sitch at our house too, but I had to work so hard to get DH and my teen to never use the downstairs bathroom for a poop sesh. We all pretty much live on the main floor, so it has to be available for guests, toddlers, pregnant me, etc. I don't think I could take one of the upstairs bathrooms (like the master) off the table too without unintentionally re-routing traffic back downstairs.

DH and I walk in on each other all the time in the bathroom. At this point I’m pretty shruggy guy because he’s seen me birth 2 humans and my children are constantly in the bathroom while I am going. Do I want to be in there? No, but if I need something I’ll run in and grab it.

So, almost every single night between 3-5 Charlotte gets really sleepy fussy. She makes a lot of grunting and straining noises like she’s trying to poop and moves her legs and arches her back. This is has got to be gas, right? She doesn’t have any trouble pooping any other time (and I don’t think she really having trouble pooping during this time, just making a lot of noise.) is there anything I can do for her??

On the topic of bathroom layouts.... I love the look of a big glass shower in the master bath, but dnw to be fully visible when showering. am I the only one?
Our setup now is toilet and shower in the “water closet”, and the vanity and tub are in the main area. I prefer this.

If MH is using the bathroom and I need something, I just wait til he's done... I'll tell him I'm waiting so he speeds it up a bit if possible. I just feel like there are so many ways around getting ready in the bathroom while YH takes a shit!

Like it was a deal breaker for me when picking out floor plans if it didn't have the water closet.

It doesn't bother me because the glass steams up pretty quickly so you aren't really visible.

I guess I'm also just #blessed to have 3 bathrooms, but nobody is ever in the bathroom with me while I'm showering. I close and lock the bathroom door. Sometimes the kids might barge in or MH may grab something really quickly, but that's about it.

I don't like the separate little room for the toilet because I get grossed out that everyone has to touch the door knob after using the bathroom before they're able to wash their hands. 99% sure that's just a me thing though.
