J's 4.5. Her V-Day party is today, so the class is exchanging cards and such and the teachers planned a special lunch. Of course we forgot about the valentines until this morning, so there's J writing her name a zillion times while we stuff stickers into the envelopes LOL Nothing like a last-minute project! She missed dance last week because of her brother's b-day party, so she's ultra excited about this week. She's been asking about soccer recently... need to look up soccer leagues. I'm exhausted. Work is killing me. QOTW: We're not doing anything. We shared some champagne last night after bedtime and that's about as far as we go. We got J a small gift and a little car for C. They were thrilled this morning to see treats on the table

We are stuck in stomach bug hell. The kids in DS1's class just keep passing it around. DS1 had it Monday night, stayed home Tuesday, made it to school today (24 hours vomit free and two solid meals are the school policy), and then threw up tonight right before dinner. I'm blaming it on an exciting day and sugar, but still. Ugh. He'll have been two school less than half the days in two weeks. Of course he threw up on brand new shoes (the first time he'd ever worn them).
PLUS he has his first real crush, and I'm so not ready for this phase. He told me this morning about who likes who at school.
I'm finally feeling better today after having bleeding and a lot of bruising post surgery. H also broke two toes over the weekend, we're sad about some recent deaths in our hometown, and our furnace broke overnight (the fix was fortunately cheapish and quick). I've been teasing H that he's never allowed to take leave again because the last time he had a week of leave was when I had surgery last spring and then DS1 was hospitalized less than a week later. I'm okay, but I'm ready for this week to be over.
QOTW: We exchanged small presents and got something little for each of the boys. We've never really been big on Valentines. I don't really know why.
