When is your due date? How far along are you? : 9/1, 11w2d
How big is baby?: the size of a fig
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: 4th
Team Pink/blue/green/don't know?: green
Any Upcoming Appointments?: Thursday, 2/15! Finally my first OB appt!
Symptoms: nausea is still the biggest. Irritable.
Milestones: nothing noteworthy.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?: I had GD with my first two pregnancies so I have to take the glucose tolerance test at 12 weeks. I tried to take the two hour test on Saturday but the lab would only offer the three hour test. The doc's orders clearly state the 75g, 2 hour test. There was no way I was going to take the 100g, three hour test. I didn't have the time and I probably would not have kept the drink down. Sugar in the morning is not my friend so I'm concerned enough with the 75g Glucola. Luckily I found another lab that will do the test. It's just inconvenient because now I have to drive across town and do it in the morning before work. I have been periodically testing my blood sugar and I don't think I have it again. But, if I do, the two hour test will tell me without the misery of the three hour test.
GTKY: With spring approaching (hopefully) what are you most looking forward to with the warmer weather? My kids being able to get outside!

How big is baby?: Small peach, peapod
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team Pink/blue/green/don't know?: Don't know until 20 weeks
Any Upcoming Appointments?: Tomorrow I have a 3 hour glucose test. Not looking forward to that. 16 week appointment on 3/12.
Symptoms: I've been having more RLP. The bottom of my stomach is popping out more. Pregnancy rage.
Milestones: Almost out of the first tri! Come on!
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?: We've announced to everyone now. Trying to be calm about it but also feel nervous that it's out there due to my PGAL brain.

I'm honestly not looking forward to being very pregnant in hot weather, though. I'm going to want to stay inside in the the AC. However, my neighbor was very pregnant last summer and was outside all the time with her kids and kept very active. She's going to make me look bad.

cornflakegirl - Yeah, I had GD during my last pregnancy and I also have a prevalent history of diabetes in my family. With all of that, they're monitoring me early on so my testing started at 12 weeks.

I'm sorry, I realize how cold my response came off. I didn't mean it that way. I posted quickly because my toddler decided he didn't like his snack and was throwing it on the floor. I found that taking myself away from whoever or whatever was inducing my rage is the best way to help. Or take some time each night to yourself. Sneak away for half an hour while your husband watches the kids. Take an extra long shower. Something. I also agree with PP, getting into second tri has helped some.
