brenna Hugs. I’m sorry for the bleeding. A positive US is good news! @holliberry I feel like I’ve been freezing since I got a BFP. I’m glad I’m not the only one! I alternate between hot and cold. Right now I’m sweating terribly BUT when I get cold, I stay cold and it’s incredibly difficult to get warm again. It’s the worst.

Today is my president’s day. I’m taking DD to school in a little bit. I still get all emotional when I see her walk into school and she’s halfway done with Kindergarten. I think later I’m going to go find some maternity t-shirts. My stomach area has gone into looking 4-5 months pregnant and I can’t really suck it in. I’m just going to live my most comfortable life at this point.

I've been sleeping like crap lately and of course the first day I can sleep in, I'm up early with weird dreams.
I have a regular doc appointment today where they should be doing a pregnancy test and also getting a physical with some blood work. I called ahead to ask if I had to fast and luckily they said no since I'm pregnant. I haven't had a true physical exam since like... 2012 😳.

Completely missed out on here yesterday since for the 2nd time this week I couldn't keep a single food or drink item down. Apparently my window of getting something to eat after waking up is pretty small. And if I wake up MOTN/early morning, I have to snack, I can't just fall back to sleep and wait until I really wake up for the day.
Not surprisingly I don't feel great today, but I'm hoping that improves as I'm actually able to eat and drink. Also found out yesterday DS has a double ear infection so that explains why sleep has not been good all week either. I have a 12:30 meeting at work then I think I might take a half day and go home and try to nap while my house is empty and quiet.

I survived yesterday without my morning Unisom dose! And I survived the night on a half dose. So far so good. I felt a little icky last night, but nothing like before. Still nervous that things seem to be letting up so soon, but the fact that I felt yucky last night is good I guess. **TW** my first loss was 9.5 weeks, I'm about 8.5 now so the next couple weeks are the hardest for me mentally. I'm SO glad to be feeling better, but man I wish there wasn't so much worry and stress. Stupid pgal.

Nymeria Ugh, I'm sorry for the sickness (both you and DS). I hope you get that nap today. tbirdlove Yay for feeling better! Stupid pgal is right. I hope the next couple of weeks go by quickly for you. I've also been feeling better this week and it's making me nervous. I'm on day 3 without the unisom/B6, and I did get a little queasy this morning. So that was reassuring, as weird as that sounds.

Can you guys tell me if I’m crazy? DH and I booked a camping trip for mid July. I’ll be 32 weeks. We’ll be renting a travel trailer so no sleeping on the ground thankfully. It’s about a 4 hour drive away. We’ve camped many times before but haven’t taken DD since she was 2 months old, she’ll be 2 when we go. The dog is coming too.
I’m looking forward to it but also worrying that we’re being ambitious. What do you guys think?

chriskooI think it would depend on how you are feeling. Where I live, I would not be able to camp mid July period, due to heat. The positive is you having a bed and sounds like maybe a toilet too!

chriskoo it may be a little ambitious, but I'd totally do it, especially since you'll be in a trailer rather than a tent.

chriskoo The only thing that would make me hesitant is the heat (it’s insanely humid here in July). But having a bed and toilet would otherwise make it totally doable. If you think you’re up for it, I say go for it!

knitty CharlieB pixiepink24 I’m hopeful that the heat will be okay, I’m in Canada and our site is 4 hours north of our home. It’ll be hot during the day but cool at night, and we’ll be on the lake. Thanks for the encouragement— I’m going to be optimistic about it!

I've got nothing going on this weekend. Just getting through a few more days of first tri! It might be almost time for me to start getting some play dates and life back on the calendar if I'm going to be feeling better. It would probably be good for me to get out and see other humans.... And I know DS could use a change of scenery!

wisco We’re watching ER, too! We started watching The Resident and thought it would be fun to compare old v. new medical shows. MH is an ICU nurse and acts like he’s annoyed by all of the dramatization for TV, but I think he secretly enjoys it. I’m working on homework now (I made the crazy decision to get another degree before life led us to TTC...oops), then we’re going to run some errands after DS wakes up from his nap. We have a bday party to go to tomorrow, so I think we’ll stop by our local toy store for a gift. It’s always a fun time there for the three of us. Plus, there’s ice cream next door.

Nothing big planned for us. We worked on getting our raised bed gardens ready and bought seeds. I have family in town too so Sunday DD will get to play with her cousins. I'm wondering if I'll end up telling the news since everyone always drinks at these family get together.

Yesterday we went to a friend's birthday dinner. It was lots of fun but Portuguese dinners start late so we were the first people to leave at 1:15 am. Lol. I'm a little tired. Thankfully the boys slept well and now we are all having oatmeal from the Bimby for breakfast. Today we are going to Ikea and a greenhouse that supposedly has southern Hugh bush blueberries. I'm dead set on getting blueberries to grow here but lost plants they sell here are meant for colder climates. We don't get enough chill hours for most varieties, spice been on the hunt. What kinds of things are you planning to plant pixiepink24?

blurnette989Last year we did a bunch of root veggies and some squash veggies but we had some nasty squash bugs that destroyed all of the vine crops pretty quickly. I've decided to avoid those this year since this is only our second year gardening. This year we have tomatoes, peppers, onions, kale, lettuce, carrots, Brussels sprouts, eggplant, and going to try broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage again because they didn't make it last year. I also grabbed a couple strawberry plants and an artichoke plant to see how they do. Totally winging it. But we did get a good bit of veggies last year!! My DD loved helping pick the veggies and watering.

wisco CharlieB I’ve been rewatching ER over the last year. PlayStation Vue has a channel called Pop that shows it. I was so happy to not worry about commercials when Hulu got it. I have 4 episodes left - what will I do with my time now?! We had a catch up weekend here. Yard work, lots of laundry and deep cleaning. Did our monthly Costo run this morning and heading to my cousins for dinner this evening. And in baby news the bloat has set in. Currently look like I’m 20 weeks so that’s cute.

I’m also rewatching er. But it’s mostly background noise so I haven’t been super aware of what’s happening. But it brings back memories of watching the first time.
We woke up to the power going out. It’s been happening a lot this week. Heavy snow on trees and wind isn’t a good combo. Hopefully it comes back on soon.

akwild I usually have it on in the background too but now DD is starting to watch tv whether it’s animated or not which makes me feel like a bad mom. Especially when it’s a particularly bloody scene. I hope the power stays on!

I never seem to be very good about getting on here when I'm not at work. When I'm on my latop I'm on here all the time!
I've been watching ER too! I watched it live the first time around but I've had the DVR recording all the episodes on POP for a long time. Up to season 11 so far!

I didn’t realize how many older shows are on there. The original Full House, Step by Step, My So-Called Life, and a whole bunch of other 90s throwbacks.

MH has been locked away in our room literally all day. He's headed to the dr tomorrow but I'm starting to think he has the legit flu. I will be sleeping on the couch - DNW to share that room air.

Oh and after telling myself I had to wait at least until 10 weeks to try my doppler I gave in and gave it a shot. Only 9w4d so I wasn't expecting much but based on what DS's HB sounded like I'm pretty sure I caught this one for a second once or twice. That was nice considering I haven't had an u/s yet and still have 3 weeks to go until my first one. I'll have to try again later this week.
