Nymeria I literally have lemonade and potato chips sitting next to me right now as I lay in bed. Every day after school I come home and eat potato chips and either lemonade or orange juice.

Nymeria the thought of potato chips and lemonade together makes me so nauseous! Are you going to try it? MH is picking some up to have on hand in case I need it, but I'm hoping the super nauseous yesterday was a fluke. But I will definitely try it if I get sick again like yesterday. I feel sick if I don't eat in the morning even when I'm not pregnant, so I think I just took to long to try to eat breakfast. So then I was sick because I didn't eat, but I couldn't eat because I was sick. I left crackers on my nightstand and ate some before even getting out of bed this morning and it seemed to help.

Healthcare is so oddly different here. I had a pap this morning. The whole appt took all of 15 minutes which was great, but then she handed me my swab, in a plastic case and in a sealed medical envelope and told me where to take it. Like it was NBD, but I had to go to this outside lab and drop it off. It kinda made me laugh. Like just walking down the street with my cervical cells in a bag.
Also my nipples are huge already and I hate it. Like the size is directly proportional to how sensitive they're in the shower. Had to cover them this morning in the shower!

Oh and at the lab they had a flyer for the harmony test and I grabbed it to see how much the test would be. 370€. I was hoping it'd be more affordable here and I'm sure that is cheaper than it is in the US without insurance. But I def won't spend that just to know gender.

I hate my boobs in general right now. Seriously considering starting a post-kids boob fixing fund once #2 is here.

I love my MIL and she's awesome with DS and we're so fortunate she wants to watch him a couple days a week, but she's such a worry wort sometimes.
MIL: Eyes gunky. Maybe pink eye. Me: Thanks for the update. Are his eyes red at all? They were gunky this morning but weren't red so I was assuming it was part of his cold." MIL: No, no redness. Me: Ok, that's good at least. Hopefully it stays that way! MIL: The goup coming from his nose is yellow.
OMG it's snot!! Mucous can change colors and we already know he has a cold!

I’m just popping in to AW my ultrasound results from today. I was insanely nervous and freaked out even by being in the ultrasound place, because my last few visits there for previous losses were not good.
Anyway, today we saw one perfect little babe with a heartbeat!! I’m so relieved. I know we’re not out of the woods yet but it’s a step in the right direction. The tech said they might adjust my due date back a few days but that overall we were right on track.

Nymeria brenna lemonade and potato chips sounds amazing! But I'm trying not to eat refined sugar, sat fats, or salty foods...I feel like there's an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other. chriskoo Congratulations!! That is wonderful news! Got very nauseous this morning at work, hunted around and found some animal crackers - wanted to do a victory dance. They were the perfect thing! DH bought me ginger chews the day we found out, and it's exciting that I need to bring them to work now. Hard to tell if the general constant nausea is actually pregnancy or just nerves, though.

The past 24 hours, I've definitely started to feel the exhaustion of first Tri. Or maybe just because I've reduced my caffeine intake? I stay at home with my 2.5 year old and nanny a 3 year old and a 4 month old so I'm beat! 😴

chriskoo congrats on a great ultrasound! Toddler has been up since 5am. I’m letting her watch Trolls while I think about how I’m going function on one cup of coffee today. We have gymnastics this morning and it’s going to be 80 outside, hopefully both wear her out for a good nap.

I'm apparently one hangry pregnant woman. We get lunch in the office every Thurs. It's over an hour late from it's usual time and I'm about to lose it on someone.....

I went to the bathroom this morning and had a lot of red blood. Thankfully I was able to get an ultrasound and saw a healthy baby measuring on track with a good heart beat. This is the 4th time I've had bleeding and it scares the crap out of me every time. I'm so emotionally exhausted right now.

Do they know what's causing it? Nope. I didn't get to talk to my ob today but the other times she's just said it sometimes happens for whatever reason. The ultrasound tech said it didn't look like it was coming from my uterus or placenta so I'm thankful for that.
