For the purposes of this check-in, we will define extended breastfeeding as breastfeeding beyond 1 year. Questions are repeated and suggestions are appreciated! 1. How old is your LO? 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3. What other milk did you introduce and at what age? 4. Does your LO nurse to sleep? If not, what is their bedtime routine like? Pregnant & BFing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? Tandem Nursing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any current challenges? Questions for other moms? Non-BFing question of the week: Do you have any plans for Valentine's Day?

1. How old is your LO? 2 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3-5 3. What other milk did you introduce and at what age? WCM around 12 months 4. Does your LO nurse to sleep? If not, what is their bedtime routine like? I nurse her and if she falls asleep, I transfer her to crib (if I can!). If she doesn't fall asleep after nursing and some rocking, DH comes in and gets her down. We really would like to change our routine because it almost always takes an hour. I want to get a regular bed on floor and lay with her to sleep and maybe hopefully someday help her to be able to fall asleep on her own.
Pregnant & BFing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? We are doing really well! No issues.
Non-BFing question of the week: Do you have any plans for Valentine's Day? I will probably buy some chocolate covered strawberries or something similar. I would like to go out to dinner maybe the following weekend or this weekend. We don't get out much alone!

1. 2y2m 2. 3-5 3. She has a dairy allergy and we've tried hemp, coconut, and almond milks since about a year. She won't drink them. Only from the tap 4. She does not nurse to sleep (except for nap). It's pjs, teeth, nurse, book, in bed, lights out. We actually have been working very hard on this and she and big sis go to sleep at the same time, in their shared room, in their own beds on their own. IT IS GLORIOUS. Though DD2 is still waking at night a bunch despite night weaning. QOTW: DH and I are hoping to get a few hours over the weekend to eat at home, watch a movie, and relax, while the girls are with Nana.
