The Trying to Conceive After a Loss thread is posted once a week (generally on Tuesday) for those of us who have unfortunately experienced a loss. No matter what type of loss you've experienced, from miscarriage to stillbirth to the loss of a child, it is heartbreaking. This thread is to help us commiserate, get support, and to try to navigate trying to conceive, after a loss, every week.
Out of respect to all the ladies here, please add a trigger warning if you decide to talk about any living children and please hide your signature if it contains pictures or tickers of babies or children. We also kindly ask for grads to refrain from commenting in this thread.
If you get a BFP, kindly either spoiler alert it or do not post it here at all.
**If this is your first check-in, and you would like to provide a gtky loss history intro go for it. If not, no worries!**
How are you doing?

Status (TTA, TTC, Benched): end of 4th cycle TTC Diagnosis (if applicable): hopefully nothing that still applies! Updates/questions: {Click for Spoiler - wacky HPT results, again}Tested 13DPO on a FRER, looked at the read window (3 min) and saw a very faint pink second line, within 10 minutes it had faded to nothing. Same kind of thing happened to me last cycle with a Wondfo. I am so done. Any opinions/suggestions? Debbie downer: See update.

sunshiney Any news since the odd HPT? I had that on our first cycle trying AL. There was definitely a line there immediately but then it disappeared a few seconds later. Or it was just my mind messing with me but I don't think so. There was no line on any subsequent ones. Have you taken more once then?

How are you doing? Ok. Ready to be done with TTC. Our timing was pretty good this cycle so I'm hopeful.
Status (TTA, TTC, Benched): TTC
Diagnosis (if applicable):NA
Updates/questions:Anyone ever been treated for pneumonia while TTC? Is penicillin safe?
Debbie downer (a place to vent ) : I have stupid pneumonia. I've had it many times in the past and I'm prone to getting it for some lucky reason. I can't test until Monday and our timing was so good I don't want to take the meds just in case this is the month and it screws it up. Just venting. I hate being so sick.

sammysam Oh that is so frustrating to be sick like that! Saying a prayer that you find out Monday you've abstaining from meds for a really fabulous reason. ***TW: PG and possible loss*** The next morning (yesterday), I got a clear positive, but unfortunately, beta yesterday was really low (16.7 at 14DPO), and I started spotting a little bit this morning. The nurse said there's still a chance and they'll retest tomorrow, but I imagine this is the end. We're just trying to spend some special time together while we have this LO around.

sunshiney Oh no! I have everything crossed for you that betas will start going up and the spotting will taper off. Please update again when you feel up to it! A chance is a chance. I so hope that things turn in the right direction!
