I need a new table for my three to sit at and do kid stuff/not put stickers on the rest of the house. Please spam me any tables and chair you have that you like for your kidds!

Check out Kidkraft. We got one secondhand and it is where DS eats (it is pushed up to our kitchen table so he is right next to me) but he also uses it for coloring and stickers and stuff when it is not mealtime.

My parents bought three of these, one for each kid and I don’t really like them for my kids. Maybe my kids are too mischievous but they are constantly moving them all over the place. They also lift easily when my kids stand up from sitting and tip stuff off the tables. We have an Alex brand table at our house that I don’t particularly like either. The legs are constantly coming unscrewed but it’s more sturdy than the ikea ones. My kids have stuck tons of stickers and colored on it though and it mostly wipes clean. Unfortunately I don’t have any recommendations only complaints. I need to stalk this thread for ideas.

We scored old school desks and an octagon table which I painted. They were more durable than anything from stores & looked unique after painting. Plus cheap.

We really liked the ikea sundvick table and chairs. It was sturdy enough to last through two very active boys and the chairs held an adults' weight without complaint.

We have the lifetime picnic table and it has been great. Very sturdy and I love that it folds flat when I'm sick of having it in the way. It has also been convenient to take camping or to grandma's or even outside so that the kids have a place to eat or color or whatever.

We have the Pillowfort industrial style table and the same chairs from Target. My kids are older, but I needed a place for them to eat, do crafts, whatever in the living room. I can comfortably sit in the chairs and the table is easy to wipe clean.

I don’t personally have it but I’ve heard good things about the pottery barn kids tables.

No recommendations but a review. We bought the white table and chairs set at babies r us and while it’s a nice table and well built it doesn’t hold up to markers and crayons that aren’t washable. I mean it might come off with some magic erasers but I haven’t tried that yet. It’s really tall too. My kids feet hang off the chairs that come with it, he is 2.5. I have other chairs that he can use though so I didn’t find this an issue.

We have a Little Tikes picnic table- the one that is a little more expensive but has cup/umbrella holder and can fold up. I didn't want to worry about chairs tipping over when the 1yo tried climbing in. I also like how we can take it outside for picnics or camping and be able hose it down easily.

How many chairs did you get?

We have the Mammut from IKEA. I bought it 5 years ago for my then 5 yo. Now it's the toddler's. Adults and my oldest occasionally sit in a chair and it has survived. I'm very pleased with it given the price and how long it has survived.

I bought two...fuck, maybe three?...kid sets and they were all kind of shitty. We have one left from IKEA that they use to serve "food" to dolls and cement trucks from their play kitchen (don't ask), but otherwise I ended up buying two slim desks on Amazon and they each have a proper art station that they can grow with now. It was close to the measurements I wanted. Plus they had 1 dollar baby sweatpants. So it was an all around win

Do you have a pic or link to the desks? We are looking for some sort of art desk that doesn't take up a ton of space and isn't cheesy looking.

I like the looks of the Pillowfort one someone posted. Land of Nod has some really nice ones but also $$$. If you could get a clearance deal, might work. We have a small wooden square with four small wooden chairs that MIL got--inexpensive. I never liked it much. The chairs were easy to tip and the kids were always trying to climb on them. Seemed dangerous all the time with the easy-to-tip chairs and square edges and the table right there. They fell often and we put it away for a while. We're about to put it back up but now my youngest are 3 & 5, so they won't be climbing so much. We have and LOVE a plastic picnic table and use it for lots of things. We only keep it inside for part of the year. We use it for parties, for kids to eat on, sometimes for art...but it's not the most attractive option depending on your setting. I recommend it, but probably not for the primary purpose of being an art table. www.amazon.com/Little-Tikes-Store-Picnic-Umbrella/dp/B00B0DWB7G/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1517766294&sr=8-9&keywords=plastic+picnic+table+for+kidsI like the school-style tables now, like by ECR4kids on Amazon, but those are also really expensive. Maybe you could find something like that, but cheaper. I would go for round over square, preferably more of a molded plastic shaped chair instead of wood square (unless good quality), and if any storage is included that would be a huge bonus.

Just commenting on the IKEA latt table for other who read this... we've had ours about 2 years. It's cheap and cute, but... the screws come undone from the kids pushing the chairs around, the wood stains really easily, (I ended up painting ours grey to cover them) and from stuff getting spilled on it the top started getting these bubbles. I'm kind of bad about cleaning it up right away, unless its a big spill...so if you want one that lasts or is low maintenance I do not recommend this one.

Our costco table and chairs have put up with a lot of abuse.
