I was actually just thinking similar as I was browsing recent threads. The light blue is hurting my eyes.

This is retina burning on mobile. The blue with black text on it burns. And the alternating backgrounds.

Lose the blue background altogether. There's not enough contrast between it and the back text for easy reading. Then the blue text in some places may work. Maybe tomorrow though. Or just as a different theme to be able to select?
