I feel... a way... if the billboards are a publicity stunt related to the 3 Billboards movie. If it's inspired by them, that's one thing. If it comes out that it's part of the PR for the movie's Oscar push, that's ick to me. Some the Oscars are this weekend, I'm pretty sure all ballots have already been turned it, so it can't be a push to get more votes. But maybe just a copycat of a nod to the movie. Many think it will win Best Picture. I... did not realize it was already the Oscars. 😂 I'm okay with a copycat that holds people's feet to the fire and makes them uncomfortable, in that case.

This article doesn’t tell the whole story. She had a bunch of comments about her wearing that while all the men were allowed to wear coats, like she had no say in the matter. I think I remember one asking why she didn’t stand up for herself, and how if it was in fact her choice it was going against all the #metoo progress, etc etc. So I can see her getting pissed about that and wanting to respond.

Is there not a way to say that without being rude? “I appreciate the corncern but I really just loved this dress and wanted to show it off.” Is sufficient. The rest is getting a side eye from me. “All this stuff of people trying to be feminist, and it's like, you're not. You're loud, you're annoying, you have no point. And what you also do is ... you make people hate a movement." Beyond extra and rude.

People just love to criticize celebrities. When I was that pregnant, I was constantly touching my bump because either I was uncomfortable or the baby was moving. I don't have any love for Kardashians, but this is stupid.

Somehow my stomach seemed like the only reasonable choice.

I saw an article about Kylie being tired and some of the comments were so fucking woof. The tweets highlighted that really stuck with me were "other people raising her baby" and "how do nannies and assistants make for good parenting??? She’s having other people take care of her baby." People were like, if you think this is hard, try it without help. I just....It's hard whether you have a nanny or not. Or if you have help or not. Or if you work or stay home or whatever. Having kids is fucking hard, man. And also, wtf do nannies and assistants have to do with good parenting. You can be a shitty parent with or without those, or you can be a good parent with or without those. Same goes for others raising the baby. It reminds me of the "I couldn't send my kid to daycare, I wouldn't want strangers raising my baby." Yes, let's shame those who don't spend every waking moment with their kids. Yep. Plus she was always either moving or in a ball that hurt so I was touching it to make it more comfortable.

Ha MH got freaked out every time I’d (gently!) push back on a foot/hand/whatever was trying to break free from my stomach. “Don’t, you’ll hurt him!” “He’s hurting me!”

Around here a lot of moms get night Nanny's and baby nurses. And they are far from celebrities. Who cares? These professions have been around for the wealthy for a long time. I can't get worked up over Kylie.
And flying while super pregnant gets a pass from me. It isn't like she wouldn't have the resources to deal if she gave birth in a foreign country. Which is he primary reason I wouldn't want to give birth in a foreign country.

Ok she looks GORGEOUS in that first pic with the blue earrings and makeup. Pregnant women always cradle their bump, I know I did. So what? And I'm assuming she was in cahoots with her OB about traveling and they determined it was safe. People are stupid.

Are you guys equally as bothered by Holland Taylor and Sarah Paulson and their 32 year age gap?
Genuine question, no snark intended.

I don't personally think it's the same, but I'm having trouble putting into words. I see HT and SP more like equals, which may be unfair. My first thought it that they're successful people who just happen to have a large age gap. When I see an older, wealthy man with a much younger and more attractive woman - fair or not - I make assumptions about why they're together. For all I know, she's successful and wealthy in her own right and I'm being overly judgy. But that initial judgment is unfortunately (and honestly) where my mind always goes.

For all I know, she's successful and wealthy in her own right and I'm being overly judgy. But that initial judgment is unfortunately (and honestly) where my mind always goes. Sarah Paulson isn't a 20 year old, she's in her 40's and I don't think it's wrong for her to be with someone in their 70's (man or woman). I think when there's an obvious power dynamic in a relationship with such a big age gap, that's where I get uncomfortable. A 20 year old "model" marrying a much older man with money and power is suspicious and kind of gross, because they're both likely in it for the wrong reasons. A woman in her 40's marrying a someone in their 70's isn't as odd because she is old enough to be her own person and there is often less of a power imbalance. Unless you're talking about Donald and Melania and then that's just gross. Not as much for the age thing as for him in general tho.

Robert Krafts girlfriend is 38, so that is why I went with the Holland/Sarah comparison.
I guess my UO is that age difference don’t really bother me as long as everyone involved is legal.
I reserve the right to change my mind if one of my kids brings home someone with an AARP card.

Did we bring up that Blac Chyna is 29 and apparently dating an 18 year old?

Or doesn't, as the case may be...
