This is mostly out of curiosity on my part because data makes my world go round (yes, I am a nerd). But, have any of you determined yet what, if anything, really triggers any of your pregnancy symptoms?
I initially thought it was food aversions that triggered my nausea, but I've started to think instead that it's stress from work. I don't feel nearly as nauseous on the weekends or the mornings. But if it's during the week, and the day continues on, I start feeling worse and worse....

I've heard of fatigue being a big one for people. They generally feel worse when they don't sleep as well.

I've definitely heard and experienced that to be true Nymeria. Interestingly enough, I got the same amount of sleep last night as the night before (and pretty much every weekday night) and felt pretty normal yesterday vs today or Tuesday. Only difference? I worked from home

Fatigue, stress, and hunger are my main triggers. The headaches come out of nowhere, though. But I’ve always had headaches tied to my cycle, so I blame hormones.

For me, fatigue is a big one in terms of triggering nausea. I’ve also had this stubborn dry cough, and when I cough the nausea flares up.

Fatigue triggers my anxiety. And my anxiety is sky high right now, so that's fun.

Lack of sleep and hunger (which is pretty much all the time) are my two triggers I think. Nausea hasn't been as bad this week (which is making me really nervous!) But I've been sleeping well and trying to eat as frequently as possible.

Hunger is my main trigger for my nausea. If I don’t eat soon after I get up I get very nauseous

Also over eating, which duh. So I spend most of my day eating small meals.

Another one here with hunger as a trigger for nausea.

I also get triggered from overeating, I’m so hungry all the time, but can only have a few bites before I’m full. The line between full and overeating is very fine and sometimes I don’t know until it’s too late.

Oh man, for nausea it is lack of sleep and smells and hunger. Of course we are sleep training our toddlers, so less sleep. Last night we made grilled fish and roasted broccoli and fried potatoes. I could only eat the potatoes. And I'm totally on the starving but I can only eat a few bites at a time. Sigh.

so for those of you who find you need to eat less more often, what are you eating? like just snacks all the time? or portioning out what would be your lunch into two meals that you eat spread apart? I'm trying to figure out how to make this work because I'm thinking maybe overeating is my issue too. I usually start feeling icky AFTER a meal haha.

flyliceandcoffee - I've never split a meal, I would just have a smaller meal. So if lunch was a sandwich, some chips, and an apple I'd only eat the sandwich then snack of the chips or apple throughout the afternoon.

that makes sense Nymeria. Normally my meals consist of just one thing so that's probably why I wasn't thinking of that hahaha. So like I'd have say a bowl of soup. Making two smaller bowls of soup out of it didn't seem right because I really don't want to be eating the same thing over and over again every few hours hahaha.

LOL. Yea it doesn't really work when you're already having just one thing. I would just try to stick with your meal and add some small snacks.

I just graze a lot during the day, can usually handle one full meal.
