Awww man, I couldn't help but click. That's serious and sad. Another possible spoiler I thought of this week: I read somewhere that Jason Mamoa "visited" the set, which he hasn't done in years. I'm wondering if that means Dani is going to die, but gets to meet up with Drogo and their son in the afterlife. That would tie in with the bittersweet ending GRR is promising.

I think I new this. I watch Youtube GOT videos during the off season. I mean we knew the wall was breached and they were coming so not really a spoiler?
I hope you all are prepping yourselves for a lot of deaths.

I hope you all are prepping yourselves for a lot of deaths. One of my friends said, "Well, that looks like bad news for the Starks." And I replied, "Let's be honest, it was never going to end well for them."

Did anyone think Winterfell would really survive?

I think itβs been pretty much agreed that Wun Wun is the one eyed giant marching with the night king in Branβs vision. And he was buried at Winterfell. So I guess I also assumed Winterfell was going down.

This doesn't seem that spoiler-y to me. It's the last season, so I'd expect a lot of death and destruction. Since Winterfell is in the North, it seems very duh that the white army would hit it first.

Did anyone think Winterfell would really survive? This is where I am. I mean, they just blew through the wall, so I think thereβs going to be a lot of destruction before this thing is over.

There's still the idea that the giant with the white walkers was Wun Wun (though it's disputed), so I could see the army of the Night King reaching Winterfell and it being set on fire to try and combat them. Or the fire being from the Night King and it'll be changed to blue in post, like the page suggests.
I assume the whole point of the Stark kids always talking about "going home" only to have Winterfell be destroyed is that their home has always been their family, not a physical place. Arya going home was her deciding to be a Stark again, not the assassin. Sansa going home was embracing her Stark heritage, which (at least in the books) she didn't really feel connected to for much of her life.
