I'm CD 2 of cycle 7 of TFAS. TBH I'm starting to get discouraged. I love our family and I will be ok if things don't end up working out for us but I guess when I see other people who are pregnant I just sort of think "why not me?" Not sure if that makes any sense.
QOTW: I was very happily OAD after DD. Until SO started talking about another. And once he got the idea into my head I guess I couldn't really let it go. So here we are. I'm just worried that maybe we left it a bit too long.

Awww hugs sammysam! I was thinking about you on Sunday but hadn't had a chance to hop on. I'm 5DPO today so just waiting for the days to pass. I probably won't test until 11 or 12DPO - provided AF stays at bay! GTKY: MH's age was definitely the deciding factor on us trying again so soon. He just turned 52 a couple of months ago. This is the third cycle and MH doesn't want to see an RE if nothing happens after 6 months - so he's ok if we end up being OADNBC. I'm not sure how I feel about that, though. Our DD was conceived at the six month mark and it felt SO good to cancel our RE appointment w/ the reason of being pregnant!

agpjt413 Good luck! I hope this is your month! My SO just turned 50 so we're in the same situation age wise as you. It took us 4 cycles with DD so I figured it would take at least that long this time...but I honestly thought I'd be pregnant by now. We haven't really talked too much about what we're going to do after 6 months but it's definitely a conversation we need to have soon as we're almost there...

Thanks sammysam!! I hope so too. I thought I'd be pregnant by now too since everyone we know who tried for a second got KU the instant they hopped back into the saddle. We actually just ran into an old colleague of H's last week who has 2 daughters. We hadn't seen him in about 7-8 years and while we were exchanging war stories about parenting, I asked how old his girls are now since we hadn't seen them that long either. He said his oldest turned 13 mid March and the younger one turned 12 exactly one week later. Yep, the girls are exactly 53 weeks apart! He said they hit a homer the first time back in the sack! ETA: I know the stress of moving for you guys could be playing a role in the delay of getting KU. I can't remember but did you mention possibly taking a break until after you all are settled in?

agpjt413 I know exactly how you feel. Everyone keeps telling me how getting pregnant the second time was so much easier than the first. Even my friends who struggled the first time seemed to have no trouble conceiving #2 and most of their kids are only 17 or 18 months apart. I feel now like everyone is either pregnant or just had a baby. Everyone. I talked to SO about waiting until we get settled but he said he didn't want to skip any cycles as we never know when could be the lucky time. I feel like his job is so stressful and I'm so stressed with everything in life right now that if it works out and we do get pregnant in the next few months it will be bordering on miraculous.

sammysam - OMG MH is the same in terms of not wanting to skip any cycles - even due to high stress! For me, I feel like it's a "wasted" cycle knowing that there are so many stressors on top of TFAS, you know? I am glad to hear that you guys discussed it though. FX'd so hard for you guys!!! How are you two ladies doing this week sweetc129, radiantfate?

Good, finally got CH on my chart so with luck my temp stays up. We had ok timing.
QOTD: We went into the marriage wanting a small family, and between waiting for years before trying (I mean why rush if your plan was one and done) then struggling to get pregnant we had our first shortly before our 10th wedding anniversary, and now it's like give us all the babies....oh shit we're old.

Now I'm all give me the babies and he is a bit flippant like whatever I want. Dude, this was your seed that you planted and water. I hope what we happens it's best for your family.

Ugh, that's so hard. It seems like so many people are getting KU quickly. Anybody see Obscurrence around? She took a break from our BMB FB group because all the BFP posts. My SIL got pregnant on her first cycle with her first (which she announced on my birthday while we were struggling to conceive our first). Took a whopping 10 months with number 2 (which she took Clomid through her OB at age of 31). Then last week talked to me about how she's so old (34) and they started trying for the third they previous month and she's worried about "struggling again"...yep second cycle KU and announced....on my birthday again. Our first took 2.5 years and our second 7 months both naturally, so we have no expectations this time around. DH has MFI and I'm not getting any younger.

We had DD a few months before our 10th anniversary as well! We never felt timing was right (lost his mom then my dad to cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, respectfully) and of course everyone always says there's never a right time. We got KU w/ our first angel baby NTNP for about six months and it took half that time w/ our second loss as well. I keep having these positive HPT dreams so we'll see!! And I haven't seen Obscurrence since leaving TCF. And LOL re: people who are younger than me who feel old. A family friend is 32, her sister just turned 30 and I said I couldn't believe her sister is turning THIRTY!! Her response was "IKR? We're old AF!" which I found kind of funny b/c by the time I turn 40, the 32 yo won't even be 35 yet!

SO initially didn't want any children but it was a deal breaker for me so he got on board with one. But then his dad was diagnosed with cancer. We lost him less than a year later. SO took the time off work to take care of his parents and then his mom after so things got put on hold. Now we're getting older and every cycle that goes by I'm more and more worried we missed our window to have more.

sweetc129 Yes! Now I'm the one stressing out about getting pregnant and he's all "whatever happens happens" "if it's meant to be" and every other cliché in the book.

agpjt413 Thanks! Of course DD has been sick most of the week to I've had to take most of the week off of work. I O early so we're starting again tomorrow EOD. Not looking like the stress is going to abate any time soon...but at least it looks like we'll be moved in by mid July at the latest! When are you guys testing? I hope we all graduate out of here this cycle!

So...I tested this AM w/ a FRER at 11DPO & BFN. I was going to wait until tomorrow AM but part of me wanted to just test and find out whether I should be ready for CD1 to start. Shortly after testing, I started getting some AF symptoms - ugh. I know I'm not out until she shows but I'm kind of feeling like she will soon. On to cycle #4!
GL to the rest of you ladies!!!!

agpjt413 Ugh. Sorry! AF always starts for me which ever day I end up testing. Hopefully this next cycle will be the one for both of us!
