When is your due date? How far along are you? Due Sept 14th, 7 weeks 3 days
How big is baby? Micra chameleon
Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? We’ll find out
Any Upcoming Appointments? First prenatal was supposed to be tomorrow but I have to call and reschedule because I got called on a last minute work trip. I’m upset that this will delay my dating ultrasound, because my doctor doesn’t schedule it until after the first appointment. Boo!
Symptoms: Some nausea and heartburn, lots of moodswings.
Milestones: I’ve still got a while to go before I pass my loss milestones (both were between 9 and 11 weeks).
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions: DH wants to plan a trip to Florida in March to visit his parents, who will be there for 6 weeks. There’s little to no Zika threat where we’d be going, but I still would rather us stay home. Just the thought of being sick and stuck in a confined space (we’d be staying in their trailer) makes me squirmy. Plus I have this nagging worry that something bad will happen with the pregnancy, and I don’t want to be out of the country if it does. I’m get that I’m just being neurotic.

When is your due date? How far along are you? Sept. 20 - 6w4d
How big is baby? Maine blueberry
Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? Don't know, will find out
Any Upcoming Appointments? Not until Feb. 13
Symptoms: Fatigue, morning sickness, headaches.
Milestones: Nothing really, although I am past the point of where I started spotting for my loss before DS so that's cool
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I'm sure the headaches, and maybe even some of the fatigue is because I haven't been drinking enough water, but I'm having such a hard time drinking water while feeling nauseated. I also had an issue with DS where once I reached 12-13 weeks the belly band holding up my non-maternity jeans was too tight and would make me feel more sick and I think I hit that point already today. I feel slightly less terrible after adjusting it a bit, but I was really hoping to make it longer before having to switch to maternity jeans considering I wore out my last ones so it means I need to go shopping.

blurnette989 - My Ovia app specifies Maine blueberry for me and we're only a day apart. Maybe those are a small type of blueberry more closer in size to a ladybug? Because I agree most blueberries that I eat are definitely not the size of a ladybug. How exciting your parents are getting their eggs today! Hugs chriskoo. PGAL sucks. I'd really try not to worry about the Zika, but I can totally see why you'd rather stay home in general. Does it help at all to think about the fact that you'd be pretty much done with first tri and past your milestones by the time a March trip rolled around? ftwr - Ugh the exhaustion is real. I had been considering taking dramamine this morning when I was really not feeling well, but the thought of taking something with the same active ingredient as Unisom sounded like a terrible idea.

Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? Just anxious to get past flu season, also had to tell a few friends this weekend we are expecting so that was hard, but glad it’s out there for a few people so I don’t feel so secretive.

When is your due date? How far along are you? 9/17- 7w How big is baby? A die, a blue berry, or a wee raspberry...
Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? Team green
Any Upcoming Appointments? First appointment today
Symptoms: nausea, acne, exhaustion, TMI: diarrhea every morning
Milestones: saw baby last Thursday with a heart beat
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? Rant: I had some spotting over the weekend after my transvaginal ultrasound which I know can be common, but it made me so anxious. Thankfully it's stopped now.
Question: what do you eat for snacks throughout the day if you suffer from nausea? I feel like I'm eating the same thing everyday and starting to get tired of it.

When is your due date? How far along are you? 8w by LMP, 7w2d by dating u/s. Think we're sticking with the EDD of 9/10 though
How big is baby? pygmy seahorse!
Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? We'll probably find out...maybe.
Any Upcoming Appointments? Not till late Feb.
Symptoms: Heartburn (holy cow the heartburn!), occasional ickiness, and apparently fatigue is back. I think I'm starting to narrow it down though. I get heartburn more when I eat sweet stuff, the icky feeling seems to be during the week when I'm generally getting less sleep, and who knows about the fatigue. I passed out on the couch both Fri and Sat nights before 10 hahaha.
Milestones: ask me again later this week....if I make it through the week, we've officially gotten past the latest loss....
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I can't, for the life of me, seem to keep warm!!! I know most people run extra hot when they're pregnant, but for some reason, I'm having a hard time keeping warm. I assume all my tests have come back normal though since I haven't heard back from the doc and they did extra tests for thyroid and normally check for iron at my last appt.....it's really annoying.

blurnette989 -- can't wait to hear how they like their eggs! chriskoo -- totally get the not wanting to travel thing. Could you maybe not stay in their trailer though if you do decide to visit? Like get a hotel somewhere close or something! Nymeria -- everything happens earlier with subsequent kids....it's quite annoying really. mirabelle -- i really really really hope we escape this nasty flu season unscathed as well. brenna -- i don't have a good answer but i'd be interested to hear from others! I'm not great at remembering to eat most of the time so yah....

flyliceandcoffee - I'm freezing all the time too right now, but seem to heat up quickly if I'm moving. IIRC I was cold first tri with DS too, so I'm wondering if it's a trimester thing - cold now, run warmer later on. I had to bring in a hoodie to keep at my desk because I was so cold at work.

blurnette989 can't wait to hear about the reactions to the eggs! Nymeria does it help to drink water from a straw? I find it's easier to take small sips from a straw to help wth nausea. brenna I haven't had to deal with nausea yet this time, but last time I had it bad and the only thing that helped was eating something immediately from waking up. Something bland like toast was easiest. That usually helped to subdue it, but not stop it completely. Now (because I can't stop eating) I've got mixed nuts, mini sweet peppers, bagels, cereal, and granola bars that are my go to.

Nymeria, try any kind of carbonated water, instead of still water. My first I would get sick drinking regualr water, but seltzer, la croix, perrier, anything like that felt fine. MH and I joked I had a fancy baby. By second tri I could drink regualr water again no issue.

pambee - Always through a straw! It does help small sips at a time, it's just been a big drop from my 80+oz habit to barely hitting 40oz some days. I think I need to focus more on drinking it during the afternoon when I'm not feeling as cruddy. blurnette989 - Good call, I love seltzer and typically have one with lunch but maybe I need to start replacing plain water throughout the rest of the day with more seltzer. Polar cranberry lime is my go to, but I do have to run to Target during my lunch break so maybe I'll pick up some more flavors so I can start rotating.

flyliceandcoffee - Last night it was cuddling with the dog, fleece socks, fleece pants, tank top, long sleeve shirt, hoodie, and super soft heavy blanket to keep warm enough while watching TV. MH thought it was funny. Granted we keep the heat at 66, but still, that's a lot of layers!

blurnette989 yep I’m in Canada. Nymeria it does help that it’ll be 2nd tri by March and flyliceandcoffee we could totally get a nearby hotel. I’m still leaning towards bailing on the whole thing though, I think DH will get over it.

Hi! I’ve been holding off jumping in here until I had a better idea of a due date. We found out on Jan 12th that we’re expecting baby #2, my son (N) is an N13 and that board has become a group of great friends so I’m excited to be here too. We had a dating ultrasound on Jan 19th but I was roughly only 4 weeks 3 days so we have another one next Friday to confirm. We’ve been ttc since May 2015 (I have PCOS and irregular cycles) and my lmp was September so this is a surprise. I’m also from Ontario, Canada so it’s great to see other Canadians here.
When is your due date? How far along are you? Approx. Sept 25th - 6 weeks
How big is baby? Ladybug
Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? We will find out
Any Upcoming Appointments? Ultrasound next Friday at 1pm
Symptoms: tender breasts, little bit of nausea/food aversion, moody and freezing all the time
Milestones: we found out with our son at 20weeks so finding out on time this time is a whole new learning curve.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? N is super excited and keeps asking when his baby will be here. He’s been asking for a baby for months now and even asked Santa.
