Highs from last week: I made it to they gym 5 days and ate healthy.
Lows from last week: I probably drank too much alcohol. I didn't get a good work out in yesterday.
Goals for this week: Get all my work outs in, hit my daily step goal, and to increase my water intake.
Accomplishments: I measured this morning, I am down 2 inches in the belly.
Let's have some fun - share a weird dream you've recently had: Oh man, this one was weird and is hard to share just because I am still asking myself, wtf made me dream this?! I had a dream that I was in a pool with a bunch of people and just casually pooped and then got out of pool. I woke up and felt so guilty, but then was like how did the poop get into the pool if I was wearing a bathing suit...see so many questions for myself.

jedi, not just your arms - you look amazing! Keep up the hard work! Thanks! My weight hasn't changed much and I actually decided to try reverse dieting so I might gain some weight. Basically my calories/macros will slowly increase over the next couple months. My body/metabolism will get used to that. In theory, if I can get my body used to eating and metabolizing 2500 calories then when I create a calorie deficit I'm still eating close to 2,000 calories.

I've been avoiding this thread because I haven't been meeting my goals at all. But now my knee is popping out all the time so I'm going to force myself to do my physical therapy workouts. They're full body so it should give me a good base. RunsforWineandCarbs your dream is hilarious. I like the nonchalant walk off. jedi you look great. I love when my arms get strong and yours look great! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

Highs from last week: I ate fairly healthy. I have tried to cut out all sugary drinks and switch to water.
Lows from last week: Not nearly enough exercise. Just felt thoroughly exhausted.
Goals for this week: Get 3 workouts in. There are free lunch classes in the park here so I am going to try to make it to 2x yoga and 1 pilates a week at lunch at the very least.
Accomplishments: I finally got the scale out and weighed myself. I am down 12lbs from January, and although it's slow I am very happy.
Let's have some fun - share a weird dream you've recently had: I had a dream DS adopted a baby cougar. And then he had a huge paw mark/scratches across his eye and I was horrified and he kept saying "mom, but it's ok. It's finnnne, don't worrrrry." lol. (he always says these things when he's trying to convince me of something - like that its totally finnne for him to get on the roof of the play house. Haha also, too much Zootopia in my life. His face looked like the panther that was attached by Otterton....

I just did 50 of these with w sitting on my lap. I also did a downward dog that killed my calves but it felt soo good. I'm doing my workouts while W climbs on me and the dog tries to lick my face. But I'm getting it done.

High: Good workouts throughout the week, and my Orange Theory class which was killer, but very efffective.
Low: So much Chinese takeout. And leftovers. All weekend. I feel so bloated.
Goal: Less junk food.
Dream: I'm totally blanking.

Highs from last week: I ran for the first time in 3 weeks, which was a 5K! I came in first of the people running with strollers but also 2nd in my age group, even though my time was sucky (was a small race).
Lows from last week: Major PGAL brain is keeping me from doing too much activity. This week, I want to try to do at least a couple of runs and a couple of yoga sessions.
Goals for this week: In addition to what I just mentioned, I need to watch it with the desserts (I know I sound like a broken record).
Accomplishments: Pushed E for the whole 5K. Normally DH and I do them and run together and I start pushing and then DH takes over for the second half but since DH had something to do, it was all me.
Let's have some fun - share a weird dream you've recently had: No dreams lately, I am so exhausted I am in a dead sleep with no dreams I think. (I know I am probably actually dreaming, but I don't remember any)

I completely didn't make my step goal yesterday. I tried so hard but there was too much sitting at work. I missed it by 783 steps. ugh.

CestLaVie , so did you do it yesterday than?!! (this is me holding you accountable - hehe) Haha love it!! Yes I did!! I even got a sunburn haha. But seriously, it is such a great way to break up the day and stress. They do have Tues and Weds but its Zumba and Boot Camp and I can't acquire that much sweat then head back to work with no shower haha.

I go to the gym at lunch 2-3 times a week and then go back to work. Sometimes I sweat so much it's kind of disgusting, but whatever. I love having my evenings free and not feeling guilty! I also plan washing my hair around my workouts lol.

avocadotoast, +1 to the hair washing. There have been days I skip the workout because I don't want to have to wash my hair.

I struggle with working out and washing my hair. I just can't get it figured out. I also wish I could gym during lunch but that won't ever happen.

Okay, I failed a little this weekend and skipped two days of the Shred, but I just picked up where I left off and I'm powering through. Weekends are just impossible for me. So it's probably going to be more like a 40 Day Semi-Shred, but whatever. I already feel like it's making a difference. I'm very close to moving on from modified pushups to proper ones -- which I probably haven't been able to do since high school -- and I'm not dying during the ab exercises now. I wish it wasn't so hot now, I'd love to be doing evening runs again. I'm not enough of a morning person to get up early to do them while it's cool.

I went for a run for the first time in four five years yesterday.
It was... not pretty. And on the way back I found ripe black raspberries. So I spent all sorts of time picking them.
