I can't remember who else was interested, jewels maybe? But I tried the anti-nail biting solution on the girls' nails. Success! Cass was crying yesterday because it's so gross. MH and I were trying not to laugh, because, don't bite your nails and it won't be a problem. Maddie was trying to refuse putting that stuff on claiming she doesn't bite her nails anymore. I told her then it won't be a problem to put this stuff on since you don't bite them. I said once I finally have to clip her nails again I'll know she's not biting them. I think this will work. The brand was something like Onyx--on Amazon. Do you think you could sneak it on your husband's nails while he were sleeping? Asking for a friend.. |

Thanks inthekitty, I'll be adding that to my amazon cart! Colin is biting his down so low it looks painful. I suppose I shouldn't use it on Chase until he's done teeth but man, how much do I want to get his grubby little paws out of his mouth!! |

Dude is so obsessed with "going to a bar" and it's hilarious. He talks about it everyday.
Apparently he told his teacher, "when I'm 21, I can go to the bar with my mom and dad. I can dance and have grown up drinks. My grandma likes the bar too."
I could not even tell you the last time we went to one. It's been years, I think. My mom only has a couple beers on 4th of July and maybe champagne on special occasions.
I wonder if his teacher thinks we're a family of lushes.

tallb this sounds meant to be. Can you reach out to the former coworker? I was more than happy to sell our condo to our neighbors vs some rando. I def would feel comfortable if we really like it. It's priced to sell though, so prob will go over asking..and asking is the top of our budget. So I'm sure we'd be priced out, and I would want her to make that $$, she is going to do well, they listed at double what they bought it for in 1998. |

jewels - So glad B is doing well this morning!! I would have flipped out too. DHs' cousin's son fell off their bed when he was just an infant and he ended up in a full body cast for 6 weeks or so. DNW. I mean, obviously.  Yikes. That’s exactly what I was envisioning. Or a concussion Accidents happen. I just hate when they are avoidable. Or bc MH thinks he knows better than me |

I had almost this exact situation happen to me. Except there were witnesses, 3 in my car and 1 in the car that hit us. The other driver kept this charade up and tried to take me to court- suing me for 10K! My insurance company provided a lawyer but the case ended up being thrown out bc the attorney that the driver had was found to have legal issues of his own! (So that really gives you an idea of the character of these ppl.) It was incredibly stressful and scary for me at the time, I was only 24. Not to mention the insult of the fact that she totaled my car and now was trying to sue me as well. I called my mother since she used to work at Farmers. Apparently my dad just went through this last year....thanks for telling us.... She said the insurance companies tried to fight it out and couldn't resolve it in arbitration so neither party was found at fault and each person's insurance co had to pay for the repairs to their own car. I was also concerned because MH doesn't get medical insurance with this new job until Feb 1 so I'm hoping the work insurance on the vehicle has a medical policy. Otherwise we'll have to pay OOP for xrays, etc. If one of my employees gets hurt driving a work vehicle, our workers comp coverage covers it. So one way or another he should be covered |

klong11 I ordered from Patpat last year for Fathers Day. I ordered EARLY, probably 2 months before Fathers Day, a tshirt for both H and E. The shirts showed up like 2 days before fathers day (they ship from China). Evie's shirt fit big, which I was expecting. I think she wore it twice before the seam around the neck started to come unravelled, but MIL fixed that. H's shirt, which was a XXL, could not be worn. Like, it MAY have been a medium. I would never order from them again. Check the comments under the post if you're on FB, lots of complaints, which I wish I had read prior to submitting my order.

Today has been crazy. We are in the middle of a huge quality issue. Like, shut the production line down for 3 weeks, quality issue. Missing hundreds of thousands in lost revenue. I'm helping keep a spreadsheet of all the sites that need visited to make a repair and it's been a mess to get it organized.
Oh, and my boss was let go today. I trusted my boss, he was straight with me on the potential sale of the company. And he was always good to me, but I'm a pretty low maintenance employee. I'll now report to our controller, who has no purchasing experience. But her and I get along really well, so I think it will be fine. I trust her as well. Just crazy.

What are you thinking of making @peach? Would you do something like a stuffed chicken breast or individual shepherds pie's/pot pies (those could be tailored to help the vegetarian crowd)

Maybe we should start a thread. I want any and all ideas. They are woman that have recently left abusive homes and are getting back on their feet. The children will be in childcare so this will be a moms only dinner. My moms work (dialysis center) are hosting this one. I guess the place does it every month and different business pay each time. After, they go to classes for parenting and basic life skills. Her and the other nurses want to really spoil them and make a great meal (ie. me make a great meal..) |

mskatiep how are your eyes today? The day after my Lasik, I was 20/15 in one eye and 20/20 in the other. It was pretty amazing considering I had been ~20/400 before. 3 years later, it's still weird not putting contacts in or taking them out at night.

peachsmama, lol. I think you could definitely sneak it on someone during their sleep. It's just like top coat. joelies, same here with mine. Cass has hurt herself before by biting so low and actually started chewing on the finger tips until they bled! Something had to be done. Hopefully after a couple of weeks that habit will extinguish.
