MH says he's leaving work so we decide to meet for an early dinner, kid free! I decide I have time to rush through Kohls and Trader Joe's. So I rush, pull into the restaurant parking lot and then get a text that he's just leaving work. I thought you were leaving 30 minutes ago, H! I wouldn't have rushed!

kim22 I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Are the pain meds at least helping?? mskatiep I got lasik last March and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’d had glasses and/or contacts since third grade. Being able to see is the best!! Make sure you get the dry eye drops, I still use them sometimes when I first wake up.

Everyone can stop worrying. My MIL sent a text asking if she could watch the kids tomorrow night.

The hospital gave me IV torodol and Zofran which helped the back and stomach pain but not the bladder pain. My doctor today gave me Percocet. I am trying not to take too much but took 1 an hour ago and it's amazing. I took a chance on this doctor knowing nothing about him and so far so good. Besides the on call person never getting back to me last night, they worked fast today to get everything ready. I can't wait for bedtime. I'm so tired and C has only been sleeping 20 minutes at a time all day.

I'm so grateful MH has an understanding boss. He went back last week for the first time since C was born then was out with the flu the rest of the week then worked 3 days last week and was out today and tomorrow for me. My mom and sister have been amazing too. Mom came last night and slept over and C didn't do great without my boobs. My sister keeps offering to take off work and watch C tomorrow but I think we are bringing him. It's a surgery center, not hospital and it doesn't seem like they have patients who are sick with contagious stuff. My sister will probably have to pick up my other 3 from school.

mskatiep, how was the procedure itself? Did you feel any anxiety? I’ve been trying to get mh to have it done for a few years now.

Busy afternoon. The doctor prescribed me Zoloft and said what I’m experiencing is very typical after the 2nd kid. I hope this helps. I follow up with her in a month. Also, I have a lump in my right boob I’ve been ignoring (because I had one when I stopped nursing H too and it was basically nothing) but she wants it checked out. So in 2 weeks I have a mammo and breast ultrasound. After my appt we stopped at old navy and they did return that outfit. Unfortunately they didn’t have another of her size in store so I couldn’t get a new one. Maybe I’ll order online.

mskatiep, how was the procedure itself? Did you feel any anxiety? I’ve been trying to get mh to have it done for a few years now. I did feel a little anxiety, I had declined the Valium they offered. Overall the procedure wasn't particularly fun tbh but it was pretty fast. The worst part was the cutting of flap because they hold the eyes still with suction. I couldn't relax and keep still the first try, so he had to reset and go again. After I got my mind right, and relaxed it was fine. I would definitely do it again though. The results are already awesome 5 hrs post op.

trtlcrzy I am glad you got some guidance, and I hope the Zoloft helps. I def know what it's like to not feel like yourself. Not fun. Interesting what she said about the second kid. Did she explain why?

Glad the appointment was productive trtlcrzy, hopefully you feel better soon. How are you feeling about the breast exams? I’m feeling pretty breezy about it. I’m sure it’s the same thing that I had before. We don’t have any family history of breast cancer, but if it is I know and am comfortable with the surgeons that remove it.

Did she explain why? More stress with multiple kids, mostly. She said she herself also dealt with it. I did have a lot of life changes after S was born: I went from working full time to staying home (except for every other weekend), we stopped hanging out with our friend group as much because we were all busier, things like that.

I just read through this whole thing while drinking wine and now i forgot what i wanted to say. I was in a training today at work and will have to train 9-5 tomorrow and Saturday (eek). When i first read about people’s tough nights i thought, dam that’s us every night. I basically stopped talking about it on here but Z wakes up between 12:30 and 1:30 every night at which point someone has to sleep with her then she wakes again around 5 then is up for the day around 6. I’m pretty sure our sleep situation is the root of all of our bickering or unhappiness. mskatiep I’m glad it went well. Does insurance pay at all? Did it hurt? How long did it take? I’d like to get it done but I’m scared. trtlcrzy i missed why you went to the dr but I’m glad it was productive. I hope the lump is nothing. I’m jelly of the Disney land folks possibly meeting up. I wish i could meet you guys. kim22 i can’t wait til this nightmare is over for you. xolastunicornxo how is it being home, having a drink, cuddling the baby, and catching up on tv? Sounds dreamy.

trtlcrzy glad your doctor can help. I saw you were going but missed why. Basically since S has been born I feel irritable a lot of the time, but especially right before my period starts. I snap at the kids over nothing, DH is bothered by it and lashes back at me. It’s just not good.

snoopmommymom that sounds exactly like what was happening with S’s sleep until we did CIO recently. She will still wake up some nights around 12:30 but will either calm herself down and go back to sleep or one of us goes in and tells her it’s not time to be up and she goes back to sleep. Then she sleeps until 6:30 or 7. I know you’ve probably tried everything with that darn girl but I thought maybe the anecdote would help.

Re: Dorit
Her and PK act so rich but I’m pretty sure it’s a facade. The Hermès dinner ware, the glam squad, refinishing the house, the many nannies and housekeepers, etc. I didn’t see this episode but on last week’s she was rude when describing the Teddy incident where she was the one that was late. She just acts superimportant and has terrible taste. It makes me question LVP because she is friends with her. I hope someone puts dorit in her place this season.

snoopmommymom My insurance gives a 10% discount, but the place I had it done doesn't accept insurance, so I'm going to try to submit for the discount after the fact. It took about 15 minutes in the surgery room. It didn't really hurt at all, they put lots of numbing drops in. There was pressure though for the first part which was not uncomfortable but not unbearable.

I am livid. Like shaking. MH was upstairs with B and I heard the loudest bang Ive ever heard then hysterics from B. I run upstairs and find out that B fell off the changing table. Normally i believe accidents happen, but lately I’ve watched him walk away from B on the table and yelled at him. Repeatedly. I make sure Bs ok, ask what he hit (landed on his back, not head) and ask how he made it to the floor without being caught.
MH said he was changing garbage bag. A task that is 2 steps away and requires 2 hands.
I am just so angry. And nauseous. He never fucking listens. This could have been so bad.
That thump. I just keep hearing it. So loud. So so loud

Um, how did I not know that Frozen has a monster in it and is kind of scary??
J had a low grade fever so I picked him up a little early. He requested frozen since he was playing it with his best girl friend and she had him play Anna and she was Elsa. So I rented it on cable since he's never seen the whole thing. Poor guy yelled "I think we should then this off now!" at one point💔. I think he did love it though.

Ugh jewels I'm sorry. I am sure he's learned his lesson and feels sick over it too. I'm glad he's okay, I'd make sure he's up for a bit and acting ok, especially if hardwood.

It is hardwood but we have an area rug in front of it. He’s had his bath and is playing now and seems fine but I’m putting off bed for a few. He normally goes to bed super easily but last night he was in hysterics for an hour. If that happens I’ll be so terrified. Well I got interrupted while typing this and just put him down and came back to finish. He seems ok.
