I’m wfh today. I had to pick B up from school yday as she spiked a high fever. So I’m taking care of her. She seems better. No fever now- just coughs and stuffy nose. No hair pats needed. We’re ok here.

Happy Thursday! I just did my glucose test, so I'll be sitting over here hoping I passed and don't need to do the 3 hour! Now I'm stuffing my face because I'm starving! They told me I didn't need to fast before, but I just decided not to eat anything first to be safe.

Morning!
C was up twice overnight (once with a leaky diaper—fun)...pass the coffee.
Not much on our agenda today, just a trip to the grocery store, and probably Target for new kitchen rugs. Not sure why I didn’t do this yesterday when I only had one kiddo with me!

I’m here in a very frustrated shape/form. Outlook isn’t working in the office... very annoying. Ds still has a stomach bug so he’s staying home today. We have concerts tickets tomorrow, fingers crossed we can go!

Charlie woke up at 3:30 raring to go for the day. He woke Josie up, I let them both fuss for about a half an hour then I went in with a new diaper and drinks for both. It helped! I didn't fall back to sleep until five, so mh woke me up at six when he left, and Charlie slept til 7:30, and Josie is still snoozing! I'm convinced this is because mh told somebody yesterday that Charlie is a great night time sleeper. Never say that again, H! Come on!

Hope ys feels better soon nam2013. You have my sympathies flamingo. My C was up at 11 (not long after I had drifted to sleep) then up again and pouting hard at 5am. Mh said he fell asleep on the ride to DC. Like why couldn’t he just have STTN instead?? He was obviously tired.

Morning, all. My H took the whole crew in to drop the boys off this morning, and I'm still in bed enjoying the quiet. Ultrasound and appointment this morning. I'm glad she's keeping them on the schedule, but I think I'll be fine now.
We have something called snow fest up here this weekend. Ice and snow carvers from around the world come here and make these amazing pieces of art. It runs through the weekend, so we're planning to go up today and/or tomorrow.

Maybe when he wakes up early he’s just thirsty?

I love E's class at DC! At drop off this morning when he walked in the door all the kids in his class called his name excited he was there. 3 of them insisted on giving him hugs hello even though he wasn't ready for them. (In the morning they are mixed with other kids until class time starts. ) It really is great to see the kids play with each other and even though there are a few close friends they all play with each other and mix. It just warms my heart!

The only thing I did differently last night was put him in a pair of footie pajamas, and I'm wondering if he just felt too hot in them. I'm going back to two piece pjs tonight.

Good morning. I’m feeling a little rough. My milks in and my boobs are so swollen and hurt. Also my stitches are hurting today too. Ugh, ready for recovery to be done!
C has her first dr app today, that’s pretty much all that’s on the agenda!

C has her first dr app today, that’s pretty much all that’s on the agenda! how is your bruised pelvis doing? It’s still pretty tender, but it’s getting better everyday! It’s mostly bad now when I do something that really isolates one of my legs, like stairs or getting into bed.

Morning! Kids are at school until noon. So we just came home to work on the house. I had a really long dream last night... and guster you were in it. But your name was Alyssa. Which I thought was odd because I didn't remember that being your name. But we have been watching, The End of the Fing World, on Netflix and the girl in that is named Alyssa so I guess that's why. Anyways, you lived in Florida and we moved to your town. We all went to a baseball game... lol and a few other places. And then when we went to your house I remember thinking, she said she's really tidy and organized but this house doesn't look any better than mine and I am not very organized and tidy.... Lol! So random. Sorry for dream judging you guster....

I hope you're feeling better today, kim22. GL, wineallthetime!! guster's H, you NEVER say that!! This is not your first rodeo! Sorry, xolastunicornxo, that is one part of newborn life that I do NOT miss. That and the lack of sleep. I wish I wasn't so wimpy about it because I would have loved a big family like you've got.

A heating pad or just hot towel will help with the painful boobs xolastunicornxo. Hope the healing goes quickly.

He goes to bed at six and sometimes takes an hour hour and a half nap so waking up at 5:30 is pretty normal, albeit annoying. We've tried for later bedtimes, but he still wake ups within that 5 o'clock hour, so for now, it's our new normal. 🤷🏻♀️ At least during the week, I'm already up. ETA: although, it can't hurt to try a sipper of water

Morning! I'm working from home since I have a 12:30 hair appointment in town. My normal girl broke her wrist and I'm seeing someone new today, so I'm only getting a trim. I feel awkward about it because I fully intend on going back to my normal girl next time, but I could NOT go 10 weeks without a trim.
Anyhow I got to sleep in since it's an off day for running, but Colin had an accident around 4:15 and it took me awhile to get back to sleep after cleaning him and his bed up. Still he seems to be doing better and shows no interest in going back to pullups. I have no idea how long it'll take before he's consistently dry but I'll suck up the extra laundry as long as he remains positive. Chase slept well and practically jumped out of my arms at daycare. It's so fun to watch him turn into this social and outgoing little dude.

I've noticed that L seems to wake up if I put her in fleece footed pajamas. I try to only do cotton footed or two piece now unless it's super cold or she's sick or something. MH thinks I'm crazy, but I have noticed a trend!
