Question....do you all have your convertible carseat? When will you take baby out of the infant seat?
Does anyone have a truck with an access cab? If so what convertible carseat are you using?
I have the graco4ever for my car but we need one for DH truck and with toys r us filing bankruptcy , it like to use our gift cards and get a carseat asap.

My DS is in a Chicco Nextfit. It’s super bulky though, and I don’t necessarily love it. But I’m going to move DD into the Nextfit and buy DS a different seat (probably one of the combo ones that becomes the booster and all that).
I moved him at 7 months or so, but DD is quite a bit smaller so I’ll wait a while.

Good question, king26! Ns height limit is 30inches and he’s at 27 so I worry we will have to get a new one sooner than we expected! Will be interested in reading what people have done for their older kids and what y’all plan to do for these LOs

We have Evenflo Symphonys for T. MIL bought them and I told her to get what she thought was best. She did a good job. The height and weight limit should make it the only car seat - since it converts to a booster. T was RF until three and the seat is 40lbs, 40” RF. It’s like 110lbs, 57” FF.
I’d like to check the expiration date, because I’m think we could use them for R and buy T a five point harness booster, which would be cheaper. I just need to know how long the current ones will last to make sure that they’ll go until R is at least 4 and then I could just get her a booster or get T a new one since they sell them pretty cheap.

I have the Cybex Aton Q infant seat for H. With DS1 I moved him to convertible seat at 10 months. He was tiny and the Cybex went up to 40lbs. Hudson is growing much faster and I will be moving him probably sooner.
We have the Britax Advacate in each one of our vehicles for DS1. I love it, however it’s a big car seat and probably would fit in right spots.
As far as Hudson is concerned, I am at least waiting until the New Cybex Convertible seat comes up this year. I love their brand and I got very excited when I saw they were finally entering the convertible seat market.

We got both the graco4ever and the Graco milestone for ds1 (one in each car). It's so funny bc I was going to tell you we switched from his keyfit 30 at around 8 months but I went back through my photos and it wasn't till a year!! That surprises me bc he's always been around 90th percentile for height. Anyway, I like the milestone better--it seems a little narrower, is easier to adjust, and costs less. I cringe to have to buy two new convertibles in six months, but there's no way ds1 will be ready for a booster at that point.

We have E in the Keyfit 30 for now. I'll keep her in it at least until the weather is warmer (late spring/early summer) so I don't have to deal with jackets, etc.
DS is in a graco 4ever. I like it ok. He's tall (90% always), so it's nice that it keeps extending for him. It's not the easiest to install and I feel like it's hard to get it tight enough. I got a Chicco nextfit ix zip on sale for $170 around black Friday for E's next seat.
