When is your due date? How far along are you? Tentative due date is Sept 14th, I'm 6 weeks, 3 days based on LMP How big is baby? Ladybug! Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? We'll find out. We were team green last time and it was amazing, but this time it will be easier logistically to find out. I figure it's a surprise either way, just a matter of timing. Any Upcoming Appointments? First prenatal is January 30th, with hopefully a dating ultrasound scheduled for soon after. Symptoms: Constipation, heartburn. No nausea or vomiting this time, which is scaring me a lot because with DD I could barely eat and with both losses I was fine. So. Milestones: The dating ultrasound will be the first big milestone. Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I'm happy to read everyone's feedback on double strollers! DD will be 26 months when this one is born so I'm debating whether we need to upgrade to this, or if we can get away with lots of baby wearing. I wore DD all the time and still do pretty often so I'm very comfortable with that, but I'm still thinking it might be nice to have a stroller that could fit both kids if needed. tbirdlove I have a funny story about dads announcing the gender. We were team green with DD, and at the hospital where she was born the policy is for the father to be the one to get to announce boy or girl. She was born, the doctor held her up and my DH announced proudly "Its a boy!!!", the doctor showed remarkable restraint and instead of laughing asked him to kindly double check - sure enough, a totally normal girl. After lots of teasing about needing an anatomy lesson his only excuse was "it's my first day". brenna As far as I'm concerned I think it's fine for us to not get too uptight about loss TWs, considering the group that we have right now. Of course I'm happy to use them if anyone needs them. flyliceandcoffee I'm sorry about your spotting -- FX it's nothing and settles right down.

blurnette989, my mom has been hounding me for 2 years on having another, so I knew when we found out I couldn't wait to tell her because she was asking every time we saw her anyway. We just came out and told them this time (last time we did a cutesy picture to give them) because I wanted to take her by surprise, ha! flyliceandcoffee, fx everything is okay and the u/s tomorrow is all good news! meggriffin, I *might* have lied and said I didn't know when my lmp was this time around because I heard they were pushing appts back to 10/12 weeks now...and I couldn't handle the wait. Oops. brenna, I'm definitely playing the comparison game. Almost every symptom I have now I didn't last time, and I'm almost positive my MS had kicked in by this time so I feel like I have no idea what's going on! tbirdlove, I also feel like I am ready to get this GOING! I've already got lists going of things we need, things I want, things we should replace, different lists for if it's a boy or a girl...I've started a secret list of names...and I can hardly believe I have 34 weeks left to wait!

Oh man and I can't believe I forgot to mention the rage. It is insane. The littlest things set me off and I cannot stop it even when I know, in the moment, that it's irrational. Bless H for taking it and understanding.

pambee, I was wondering if that was the norm now. I was unsure of my dates so they did do an early dating u/s that is what has made this bearable. However it has been a week now so I am back to feeling anxious.

flyliceandcoffee, I hope it is nothing, I have had some spotting this time around before my u/s and things still looked good at that appointment. I hope it is nothing out of the ordinary and you get some reassurance tomorrow.

For car seats I ended up narrowing it down between Britax Boulevard and Chicco Nextfit. On Amazon Prime Day I ordered 2 of each so I could check them out at home. Yup - unless #2 comes early, DS will have just turned 2 when this one arrives. I'm going to get an UPPAbaby Vista. I absolutely love my UPPAbaby Cruz so I'm not even going to look at anything else. Really I wish I had just bought the Vista from the start but both even the Cruz was expensive so I didn't want to spend more money at that point. I'm probably going to look into selling the Cruz to put the money towards a Vista. This is what started it for me! There's an Uppababy Vista double for a great price on my local Craigslist! I was totally sold! Until I did my obsessive research and found out that the front Rumble Seat has a max child height limit of only 36 inches... DS is around 34 inches already now. IF he still fits in it when #2 comes, he won't fit for very long. So that pretty much ke-boshed the Uppababy Vista for us Ah that's a bummer. DS is only 30 inches right now so I imagine by the time he gets too big for the rumble seat I could put LO #2 in the rumble seat and DS in the regular toddler seat.

brenna, thanks for the reminder - I just went on a search and found my Sea Bands! (They were MIA when I was pg with DS1. I randomly found them a few months ago in a sweater pocket. Then immediately lost them again when I tried to "put them some place I'd remember.") I'm not sold on whether or not they work, but it sure as heck can't hurt! chriskoo, YH's gender announcement is great!! Haha!

When is your due date? How far along are you? -New due date TBD/approx 6.5w
How big is baby? -About the size of a small bean
Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? -Team Green (I think!)
Any Upcoming Appointments? -First MW appointment tomorrow afternoon.
Symptoms: -nauseous almost all the time, throwing up every morning since last week 😕 Shortness of breath at times and exhaustion. It's going to be a long few months!
Milestones: -Had a good u/s on Friday. The tech probably told us more than she was supposed to, but I don't mind! Had to do the transvaginal u/s as she couldn't see anything with the abdominal one. Baby measured about a week behind using my LMP for dating, but longer cycles, and this same thing happened with my now 2 year old, so I'm not worried.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? -I'm going to rave about my H, he spent all weekend working at our condo, organizing, painting cleaning, while the toddler and I hole up at my in-laws. He also apologized that I have to do so much of the parenting, since he's been so busy. He's also been so supportive of me as I've felt so terrible.

flyliceandcoffee t&p's that the spotting is nothing and you have a good appointment tomorrow. (((hugs))) brenna I play the comparison game all the time, plus I worry whenever my symptoms fade (which isn't often anymore).

pambee I’m trying really hard not to gain as much this time as I did with DS. I try to go for snacks with protein to help me go a bit longer between meals. String cheese, yogurt, Luna bars, slim fast shakes, etc. We’ll see how this goes in third tri when the ice cream cravings hit me. Also, solidarity on the rage front. My fuse is so short right now. flyliceandcoffee Hugs, friend. I hope the spotting is nothing but spotting.

so far the spotting has been minimal (i.e. super light only when wiping) and only happened a couple times yesterday. Which is making me feel better. Glad I have my appt later today though. Thanks ladies for all your support.

When is your due date? How far along are you? -8 weeks today, EDD is 9/4 based on LMP
How big is baby? -A jelly bean
Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? -Team finding out
Any Upcoming Appointments? -I have an appt with the OB coordinator next Thurs, then we'll set up appts with the doc.
Symptoms: -Alternating between hungry/nauseous and so so so tired. ETA how could I forget the bloat? Finding outfits to hide my blump is getting tricky.
Milestones: -I'm past all of my loss milestones!
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? -I'm going to rave about my new OB. I switched offices after having an awful experience during my loss last summer. I liked my last OB and was hesitant to switch, but the practice is just not managed well at all, and I very much felt like a number rather than a person. But this OB...you guys. She called me after my first US just to see if I had any questions, and then she called me last night to follow up and let me know that my last US looked great. I haven't even met her in person yet, but I already love her.
Rant: The spotting that the US tech mentioned is making its appearance. I'm glad that I was expecting it, but I'd love for it to be done.

chriskoo that story about your DH announcing the baby is hysterical! When is your due date? How far along are you? 9/5, should be measuring 8 weeks tomorrow. How big is baby? Peanut m&m Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? Finding out Any Upcoming Appointments? Tomorrow dating ultrasound, scared Symptoms: I have been so sick basically after the time I take my prenatal so I’ve been playing around w/the ideal time to take it. I’m miserable. Also my hair... does anyone else have it where your hair goes just dry and brittle for the course of your pregnancy? I had this w/ my first, not w/ my 2nd pregnancy and now it’s back with this one where I simply cannot manage my hair. I feel like I’m going to need to get it chopped. I have never come across anyone that has this happen so it makes me feel crazy. It’s like all the nutrients are stripped... Milestones: Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?

When is your due date? How far along are you? 7 weeks, 5 days - Due Date is 9/6/2018 How big is baby? Blueberry! Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? Definitely finding out! Any Upcoming Appointments? Another ultrasound on Friday, and then the "teaching" appointment with my OB's nurse to give us the book of information about symptoms, etc... Symptoms: Nausea, Lower back pain (so bad I could barely get out of bed yesterday - today is better). Milestones: Hoping to see two healthy gummy bears on Friday! Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? The first trimester is just a ball of anxiety! And it our busy time of year at work, so I'm trying to push through the symptoms as much as I can, but I just want to nap. I agree that we can get rid of trigger warnings around these parts. We're all super aware that there is a lot of loss history in this group. I just want to give you all huge creepy internet hugs. flyliceandcoffee - I'm thinking about you! Sending you positive thoughts! Keep us updated.

Update from me!
So far things look good! No signs of bleeding, heartbeat of 133. Measuring about 5 days behind lmp, but they're sticking with edd of 9/10. They said to expect some bleeding the next few days but it shouldn't last more than 3 days or be heavy so hopefully things work out better this time. We're definitely not out of the woods yet but things look good as of right now. I don't know if it's a good sign or not that everyone knows us by now hahaha... On the plus side, I only had to get poked once for my blood work! As compared to like 5 times last time. I know that means nothing at all, but only getting poked once makes me feel better about all of it. 😂😂😂

I'm finding I don't have 24 hr sickness this time around but mostly in the evenings? Either way, this is better than with DD so I'll take it. I'm also super bloated CharlieB. I've given up trying to hide the bloat and am just living free probably making everyone uncomfortable with their internal questioning of "is she pregnant or nah?".

Had my first MW appointment yesterday. Unofficial due date is now Sept 10. Have to go back for another dating u/s as baby was not measuring big enough or far enough along to confirm Edd. I'm okay with the extra u/s. I'm a worrier, so the extra reassurance is good. I'm also considered obese due to my BMI, so on top of my Incompetent Cervix complications, I now have that designation. I know I'm overweight, but when I look at myself, I don't feel like it, but of course hearing it is hard and makes me feel bad. Ugh!

Seriously. according to the BMI, I'm considered a healthy weight even though I was told I have to gain 40lbs when pregnant. How is it even remotely possible that I'm supposed to gain almost half my weight in 9 months and yet BMI says I'm perfectly healthy. It's all crock. Especially because it even considers people who are all muscle overweight/obese. There's so many things it doesn't take into consideration!! I'm surprised we have the same EDD but they couldn't confirm?

My u/s ended up being too early to be considered for dating purposes (baby needs to measure a certain size or date between 7w&14w for them to date accurately). And really, although I hate the "obese" label, other than it being suggested that I take baby aspirin and calcium, it just means some extra monitoring, and with my PGAL brain goungnall the time, the extra monitoring will be helpful I think. How are it doing today? Any more spotting?

I'm glad the extra monitoring will help the PGAL brain, but I'm sorry the BMI classification hurt. I don't understand why BMI is used so widely when it's really not a reliable indicator of weight-based health.
