For the purposes of this check-in, we will define extended breastfeeding as breastfeeding beyond 1 year. Questions are repeated and suggestions are appreciated! 1. How old is your LO? 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3.Are you dealing with any BFing-related challenges right now? 4. Did you ever come close to quitting BFing? What made you resolve to keep going? Pregnant & BFing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? Tandem Nursing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any current challenges? Questions for other moms? Non-BFing question of the week: What is/was for lunch today?

1. 2 2. at least 4 3. Just that she is nursing so much. She has been sick a lot this winter so far and I feel like I have to let her nurse, but sleep is crap. 4. Not that close. When my H was in the ICU and DD2 was 6 mo, my supply really tanked and under the stress of trying to pump during the day at the hospital and only getting drops for 2 weeks I contemplated it. But I knew with her food allergies we needed to keep going. My supply eventually came back just fine.
QOTW: The same leftovers I ate yesterday. Lame.

1. How old is your LO? 2 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3-5 and overnight. We usually nurse after daycare and she's skipped this a few times. It's really the first time I can remember that she's skipping sessions. 3.Are you dealing with any BFing-related challenges right now? Not really. I'd love for DD to sleep through the night and not nurse her overnight... one day. 4. Did you ever come close to quitting BFing? What made you resolve to keep going? No. I have had an easy road. We used a nipple shield in the beginning due to trouble latching but she transferred from that ok in a few months. Pregnant & BFing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? 8 weeks. Things are going really well. No problems with anything. I'm surprised i'm not sore or anything but I've never had many pregnancy symptoms. Non-BFing question of the week: What is/was for lunch today? Chick.fil.a. I try not to eat there because I don't agree with them morally but I still do because I like the food so I suck I guess!

@kelltothekell, I got pregnant when my older daughter was 19 months. When I hit third tri shortly after her second birthday she weaned on her own, not a fan of colostrum. Maybe pregnany will gently nudge your DD to wean as you progress?

IT would be great if pregnancy could gently lean her that way. I may be open to tandem but not really sure. I think I'll just go with the flow which probably means DD will nurse 3-5 times a day and overnight for the rest of her life. I kid.

1. How old is your LO? 2.5 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 0-2 3. Are you dealing with any BFing-related challenges right now? I'm not enjoying nursing DS2, but it's so quick each time I can deal. 4. Did you ever come close to quitting BFing? What made you resolve to keep going? I had a hard time initially with DS1-- he was very high needs and we were struggling with a nipple shield on top of it. I think I was just too stubborn to quit.
Pregnant & BFing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? Just waiting to see what DS2's MO is. He seems to be asking less and less and spends about 10 seconds nursing.
Non-BFing question of the week: What is/was for lunch today? Manchego cheese/flatbread crackers, a salad, and an orange
