DS2 (3) hasn't done much new lately. He's using the potty consistently again, thank goodness, and he's been hilarious lately.
Yesterday morning when we got home from dropping off DS1, I asked DS2 if he wanted to play, and he said "I don't wanna talk right now." Cool with me, kid! So we both did our separate things until lunchtime.
QOTW: He's in 3T, but we're slowly moving up to 4T shirts.

Age: 4 years! Wow.
Milestones: He can finally draw things that look like, well, things. And not just scribbles! I am a proud mama.
Challenges: Why do we have to ask him 45,982,109 times to put his shoes on/brush his hair/use the potty/pick up his dishes, etc? He is so stubborn sometimes.
Funny/cute stories: He loves singing Twinkle Twinkle little star to his baby sister and it gives me all the feels.
How are you? I can't believe I'm a mom of a 4 year old. What?
Anything else? Just a tired mom.
QOTW: What size clothing is your little one wearing? 4T, though some things are a bit big on him but I got tired of half his pants being too short so I put away all his 3T things.

Yep on the stubbornness! My 4 y.o. is doing the same thing. We've had some discussions on that lately about how she needs to listen the first time we ask her to do something. So now I just say to her "Do I have to tell you a second time?" and that seems to be working. You know, for this week. lol

Age: 4 - how?!!!
Milestones: Recently she participated in her first kids' golf tournament. My parents are avid golfers and gave her a kids' set of clubs on her birthday. She loved them and my mom has taken her to the driving range when I had to work. It's really their dream come true here since I can't hit a golf ball for anything!
Challenges: Time away working - still. DH and I alternate taking her to school since he usually starts later than me. I hate not seeing her in the morning but this semester I take her two days. On the other days she will cry if she's awake and hears me leave. She begs me not to leave. She says "Don't go from me." It kills me. I want to stay and I tell her that but I just don't know how to ease it for her. I've already talked to my boss about teaching one less class next year. I said I haven't seen my daughter yet today (the day we talked) and I won't see her until I pick her up after work. I want to take her to school next year and see her in the morning/help her get ready - you know, mom stuff. It's not set in stone but he seems very open to it and circumstances at work are right for it so I'm hopeful.
Funny/cute stories: One of her friends in her pre-K class has been sick and hadn't been back to school since the winter break. She came back this week and over the weekend Little Miss was counting down the days until her friend came back.
How are you? See above challenges. I'm tired and working hard/constantly feeling like I'm behind. I am making some changes though to ease that and so I am hopeful.
Anything else? I know I posted in my reintro but I am just so happy to have found you all again!
QOTW: What size clothing is your little one wearing? Mostly 4/5T but she can do 3T and I have some 6T because one of the kids' clothing stores at the mall was going out of business and I got crazy amazing deals!

scimomma, I am having similar work challenges. They want me to go into an office that is 2 hours away and I do it once or twice a week only but just with that, those days are a nightmare. I get up before my kids are awake and half the time when I get home they're already in bed. We are trying to sell our house so we can move closer. I hope you can come up with a solution!
