I’m feeling extra exhausted right now, so I’m hoping baby passes out soon and sleeps a decent chunk for me. I don’t want her to grown up but I certainly am already looking forward to more consistent sleep again.

2nd night at the hospital so I am cluster feeding DD like crazy. DH is home with the older two so I am on my own. I am binging ER and anxiously awaiting 3 am when they are taking DD to the nurses station for tests and I can get a bit of sleep. DH owes me tomorrow!

Finished feeding baby and she finally fell asleep. Hopefully I can get at least a 2 hour stretch. DH is on a red eye from Las Vegas right now. I don’t know how you ladies that have husbands that travel or can’t help out at night do it.
So shopping with DHs sister went okay yesterday. She only annoyed me a couple of times. I hope DH sees it when he gets home so he doesn’t think I’m crazy.

You guys gotta get a sound machine. I usually sleep with a fan to drown out any annoying background noise, but right now am sleeping with a sound machine. It’s just loud enough so that I’m not hearing everybgrubt and squish noise

I’m up for another feeding. Holy shit why don’t I remember the cramping that goes along with nursing?? I’m like reliving contractions all over again. Borderline in tears over here

I was told the cramping gets worse with subsequent pregnancies. I agree amesie, it felt like I was having contractions and in a sense, we are to get that uterus back to normal size. |

I decided not to set an alarm to pump and just do it gets up. He was up right about the time I would have set my alarm for. Good thing, I guess.

Reminded tonight why I hate asking H for help MOTN (even though I know I need to). What a grumpy jerk. And after I told him what I needed which was take DS out after I fed him bc he wasn’t settling down to sleep, he goes out for like 30 seconds & brings him back in “well he fell asleep!” And as soon as he puts him down, fussing again. I’m so tired. I will cry when my mom leaves & I’m ledt to face the day alone after nights like this.

amesie I’m only tagging you bc I see you posted recently I feel terrible bugging u while you just had DD2. I’ve been experiencing something similar to you in the intense BH category. Ive had BH very early and very often in all pregnancies so I thought I was an expert but I’m not sure now. How did you know yours changed from intense BH to the real deal? I was up most of last night with what I thought were early labor contractions but turned out to be serious BH. Tonight same thing starting at 1 but now they are more painful, in my back and butt. They don’t feel super periody but they hurt. Can’t sleep. Kicked H out of bed type of thing. Why can’t I remember what Labor feels like?!? This is my third time. I think I’m delerious from no sleep. ETA amesie I’m canceling the tag. I think this is it! Just early🤞

I laid my head down after the last time I posted assuming she’d get noisier/let me know she was awake. And I woke up 2.5 hours later! She went from 10:30-4:45 without eating. !!!!!!! Hoping we can continue this trend and eventually she isn’t so loud while she’s sleeping! |

Yay rebeccabunch!!! That sounds very similar to mine. The BH I had the chest tightening and no cramping with it. With the contractions, my uterus would get firm and I’d have the cramping with the hip and back pain too. Sounds like it’s it for you!!!! Goodluck!!! |

I can’t wait to get to the stage where I don’t want to hear every sound. I have some ftm anxiety of thinking he’s going to stop breathing. Thankfully I have been able to eventually fall asleep between feedings and my husband has been very helpful in the motn so far. We’ll see how it goes when he’s back at work next week.

cake have you considered getting a snuza? We had one for DD1 and are using it for DD2 as well. It really helps me at night when I am constantly listening for breathing.

You just clip it on the diaper while they sleep. There is also something called an Owlet that people like too. I am partial to the snuza because it’s super easy to bring with you on trips. |

This is how we handled things with DD but now knowing I will be awake at 730 no matter how the night goes...that is miserable lol. And on tues/thurs she goes to school so I am up earlier with her then. Also his baby leave just started today so he has no excuse  |

I’m attempting to go to bed and it’s not going well. Little man is super fussy. I think he may have reflux. He has spit up and awful lot today and he whines when I lay him down sometimes.
I hope tonight goes ok.
