Baby barely napped yesterday. Seriously. Be it on me or anywhere else she just didn’t settle. Butttt she’s been asleep for 7 hours. My boobs might explode. She’s starting to make noise but not really waking up. But I might have to grab her soon anyway.

Why must my kids be early risers like their dad?! Little man woke up at 6:20 to eat and has no intention of going back to sleep. G will be up soon too. Don’t they know it’s Sunday and we can all sleep in?

Girlfriend is still sleeping. It’s been over 8 hours. I know this is not a problem, but I’m baffled, my boobs hurt, and I don’t know what to do. 🤷🏼♀️

No. I kept assuming if I put the pump on she would wake up. I’ve never had supply issues with my other kiddos so that wasn’t a concern, and I SAHM. But she finally fluttered her eyes a bit and grabbed her. Lol. While she was sleeping I did finally get my pump all set up and ready to go, so hopefully I’ll at least wind up with a bottles worth in the freezer after this! |

I slept from 10-4:30 when baby was crying. I asked DH if she has been up at all and he said twice. I never heard anything oops! Good thing he did!

I obviously had too much caffeine yesterday. After he had a bottle at 330 he was kicking and cooing away for almost a hour. As adorable as it was, in exhausted. When I pumped early this morning I diluted his bottles with decaf milk lol.

Hope you enjoyed your sleep!!! This is what I was going to say. I love my hand pump for situations like this and it is quiet and easy and relatively cheap. They sell them at target and out major grocery stores. |

V didn't have a great night. I think she had an upset stomach plus she was trying to poop and finally did it at 5am. DH got up with the toddler though so that helped.
I know "they" say it isn't supposed to affect baby but I had a lot of broccoli last night and I wonder if that upset her tummy.

Mh and I went out on a date tonight. It was so glorious. We were looooong overdue for it! ILs watched both girls and they were well behaved! H even took a bottle from MIL!! 🙌🏻 I was so worried she wasn’t going to take it since she gags on any and every binky ever made. But she took it no issues!

We put little man to bed about a half hour ago. We are now watching the olympics and hanging out without kids. It’s nice but I am sure I am going to regret not going to bed.

This is not going well so far. He will not sleep! I need to figure something out during the day because he's getting way overtired and then won't go down. He generally sleeps well at night but today he's been a wreck and won't go down. SCREAMING, arching and just miserable.

I’m up. I just fed the baby. I think I caught what G had. My throat hurts and I’m starting to get that “I’m sick” feeling. I went to bed around 10:30 but because of MHs snoring, I didn’t fall asleep until 2:30ish when he went to the couch. It’s 5 now. I’m putting the baby back in his bassinet now and I’m hoping I can sleep just a bit more.

And of course, he just took a massive poop. 😑 Now I have to unswaddle him, clean his ass and swaddle him again. I just got comfortable too.

I’m up but not because of DS. H and DD just hit the road for their trip and I’m back in bed crying haha. That sounds pitiful. I’ve been away from her before but only for 3 days and I was the one leaving— it is so sad to walk in the house and see all her stuff but she’s not here. My mom always cries leaving us and I didn’t realize it starts so early haha. So I have six days now of just me and DS which will be nice (especially since DD had been sick) but I already miss her like crazy and it’s barely been 10 minutes since they left. 😭

Baby wouldn’t settle after his 1:00 feeding so h toook him and slept downstairs with him in the swing. I’m up pumping and am starving but can’t eat because I didn’t take my thyroid meds yet.

Once again, I'm finding it near impossible to keep DS awake the few hours before bedtime which I'm afraid will mean he'll be wide awake when we should be going to sleep...

Once again, I'm finding it near impossible to keep DS awake the few hours before bedtime which I'm afraid will mean he'll be wide awake when we should be going to sleep... This is a struggle we’ve had too. The boys sleep the soundest during the morning (before lunch) and in the hours before bed time. So essentially the times I can’t rest or nap. 🤷🏻♀️😭 Tonight they are alternating cat naps. I just get one settled and lay down just in time for the other to fuss. This has gone on for two feeds 😩 |
