We were up 3 times. Right now I’ve had to switch to pumping and h is giving him a bottle (he’s got a tongue tie we discovered yesterday). It’s making nights long but knock in wood the baby settles pretty easy with the pacifier and sound machine. What happens with the tongue tie? Do they clip it or something? (that sounds so brutal, I just don't know what other verb to use...!) |

It can be sore for a bit after for the baby. DD1 had a posterior tongue tie- they clipped under her tongue and between her upper lip and top teeth, she used tiny scissors. It was all very sad, but then finally she was able to nurse without chewing on bloody nipples.😬👍🏻 |

We go for a weight check Friday and I’m going to bring it up. I thought I noticed when he was born but both pediatricians and the lactation consultant didn’t mention a thing about it. As soon as our pediatrician mentioned it I started watching him try to latch and realize he’s struggling so we tried a bottle out to see how he did and he took off eating.

Swaddled and down for the night. I'm so exhausted and I'm afraid we might have a virus going around here. Fx we all get some rest tonight!

H had lots of awake time today and tonight. I finally got her to sleep at like 8 and then just swaddled her and did a dream feed now. Fx that we get a decent night tonight!!

My little guy is swaddled and down for the night too.
MH and DTD for the first time in like 3 months. Now I’m laying down in bed and hoping for a good night of sleep.
I hope this thread stays quiet tonight because of us ladies and babies are sleeping soundly.

I’m up pumping. H was throwing up earlier so I’m completely in my own tonight and I’m exhausted. The baby decided tonight he wants to cluster eat too so I foresee not a lot of sleep.

Got him in a fresh diaper and swaddled, we were doing our pre-bedtime nurse and giant poop. Ugh. About to change him and re-swaddle and nurse some more. Hoping he gives me a 4 hour stretch in the RNP like he has the last few nights! 🤞🏼

I am putting the big to sleep. Mama is tired. I have plans to give H some action and then eat dinner. Hopefully I can get in bed before 11, that would be great.

Getting the party started over here.
H was still up in the living room and just ran in here saying 'What's going on??' When LO started crying to eat.....ummmmm. Your kid is hungry and crying like every other wake up????!
I feel bad because I was snarky and rude to him. I don't feel that bad. lol.

Kiddo just slept for 5 hours and is wide awake after eating. Thank goodness for the Olympics being on in the motn, at least I have something to do.

I think my baby has an alarm clock built into her. On the dot after 3 hours she needs to eat. Never a minute more.

I’m here. DS did 6 hours but I only slept for 4 of it. I can hear DD crying now so as soon as I’m done feeding him I’m gojng to go check on her even though H is in there already.

I’m absolutely exhausted. H was up sick again which interrupted the 30 mins or so of sleep I got. I think I got a touch of whatever he has (he thinks it was our lunch we ate) and I’ve just been trying to lay down between pumping and feeding DS2. I have so much anxiety right now about baby getting this too that it’s making sleep even more difficult.

LO was up for an hour and a half at the last wake up.
Why baby?? Sleep is glorious at night.

We were up at 11, 2:45 and 5:45. Not horrible because she always goes right back to sleep (knock on wood) but I sure can’t eaut for consistent longer stretches. I’m hoping she goes right back to sleep again now because i have to get DD1 ready for school, and then DD2 and 3 have well checks today.

kbw o hope it was just something you ate. DD threw up her yogurt yesterday and I'm also crossing all the things it was a fluke. It's so scary to be sick around little babies!

While we are having fun on our trip I’m ready to go home. DD1 is going to sleep okay but since we are all staying in the same room, she wakes when baby wakes and is up for the day an hour earlier than usual since she hears the “Choo choo train” behind our rental.
Baby was up on schedule at 11, 2, 5 then 6:30? What the heck? Probably because DD1 woke up and was talking. Gah

It’s just about 9:15 and we are attempting bedtime. Little man is swaddled and in his bassinet but I can hear him moving so he is still awake. Hopefully we will all be sleeping soon.

Always the optimist, I'm hoping for a good night sleep because DS didn't nap well today. If he had slept well I'd be saying, "sleep begets sleep maybe tonight will go well."

Tonight isn’t starting well. He keeps screaming like he’s in pain. I’m guessing it’s gas but my attempts to help him work it out aren’t going well.
