Guys...Guys..... I know I am going to jinx it by posting about it but Ian slept through the night. I am not even joking. He took a bottle down at 10. He made some noise at 2 but didn’t wake up. He did the same thing at 4 and 6:15. But he didn’t get up. 🤷🏻♀️ unfortunately I didn’t sleep the whole time because of worrying about him and MHs snoring. It’s probably a fluke but it’s a start! AMAZING!!! how old is Ian?

Anyone else have the laziest baby at night?? It freaks me out bc he sleeps a long time but then barely nurses in between before he falls back asleep & I cannot for the life of me get him to wake back up enough to nurse more. He is obviously growing but I wish he would feed better MOTN. omg yes. It drives me crazy. But she makes up for it during the day. She tends to cluster feed in the morning and then again at night, so it makes me less worried that she doesn’t do as great MOTN

He got quiet so I rolled over and went back to sleep. I think exhaustion helped. Lol.

I guess I’m just surprised he is eating like this already, I feel like DD didn’t do it until 3mo or so. But he is already her 3mo weight at 1mo so I guess that could explain it.

Did everyone’s baby start sleeping through the night? 😬 Not us. She slept for a little over 4 hours so I guess I’ll take it.
MOTN confession, I’m disappointed with our newborn photos, but I think my kids are more to blame than the photographer (though I feel like she could have done a few things differently). I can’t stop dwelling on it, even though there is nothing I can do about it. Can’t make her that small again.

Im trying super hard to stay awake during all feeds tonight. Its exhausting! This is wakeup number 2. He ate well the first time but this time he just wants the boob to pass out. Fx this is our last wakeup.
I cjecked yje awake time cjart and kids under 1 mo should have 45-60 min awake stretches. J has definitely been havubg way longer ones! So today i want to make that a focus. Not necessarily gwt him on a schedule but to prioritize giving him real sleep every hour or so.

benandjerrys I just googled baby wake periods but this is similar to what I’ve seen before. If DD3 wasn’t asleep by the 45 min mark, it was hell. It’s crazy how little they truly should be awake.

We got close to another full night. He started making noise around 4:15ish but didn’t actually wake up until 5:15. I just fed him and put him back down to sleep. I’m going to grab another hour of sleep before I have to shower.

I’m here I just usually read more than post MOTN. DS did 7 hours and then almost 4. DD was up a bunch though, my poor H. At least he isn’t flying tomorrow.

Sorry for being nuts. Clearly sleep deprivation is starting to catch up with me. I finally fell asleep about 4:30. And she woke up at 5:05. Bummer. She’s really not a horrible sleeper. I’m the horrible sleeper. Hoping I can convince my parents to take DD2 & 3 for the afternoon so maybe I can squeeze in a nap.

Sorry guise! I'll be here soon.
I apparently slept through DD1 crying out bc she didn't have any blankets. Soo. I'm hoping these good night's of sleep are my body's way of getting ready for labor!!

sarahh kind of. She wouldn’t sleep. So again, not the photographers fault. But we should have tried some different things. And I’ve known this photographer for 10 years. She’s always brought baskets and props to the newborn shoot. And this time she didn’t. Which is weird.

I was here last night. We most certainly did not STTN. She was up at 1130, 3, 5, 6... she got so stuffed up towards the morning and couldn’t breathe well so I sat up in bed and let her sleep on my chest, which is where she still is currently. I’m so so so tired and am so excited to make it downstairs to a cup of coffee.

amesie sorry for the rough night. I’ve given up on sleep. Going to walk/run on the treadmill instead. I think the endorphins will make me perkier than another 45 min of sleep.

I’m sorry you are disappointed, ajetter, but she does look adorable! The second one is particularly beautiful and in the third one her facial expression is cracking me up.

Baby only woke up at 1 and 4 to eat! We got up at 6. However to get the young man to initially sleep he cluster fed for a loonnng time which led me to stress eat a lot of animal crackers. Lol. Oops.

No sttn here. The pattern seems to be 2 good stretches of 3-4 hours and then it is a shitshow. Bed at 9 wakeups at 1 and 4 then at 5 when he would only sleep being held.

He went down at 11 I tried to feed him at 2 when he was fussed but wasn’t really interested and then he got up at 4:30 and 5:30 to nurse. This kid is so sleepy that nothing will get him to nurse if he doesn’t want to. I’m nervous for what the pedi will say today because he’s going 5 hours at a time sometimes without eating.

Well I thought that if I did a better job keeping J up for a full feeding he might skip the next. That did not happen. He was down at 9:30, up at 1, 3 and 5. Not great but not terrible.

LO was super sleepy at the beginning too. Have you tried undressing him down to his diaper during feedings? At the beginning I would have MH rub his arms to keep him awake.

Ive been too tired, frustrated, sleep depressed to post! Luckily, last night was much better.
H took her from 9-11:00. Fed her 11-11:30, she slept til 4:15 (woohoo!) was up til 5:30 then only slept to 6:15 and will only nap in my arms.
It seems like once 5 am hits things go south and it’s the all day nurse and hold.
Or maybe based on the sleep chart the 15 minute bouncer naps are normal! 🔪🔪🔪
