I also chickened out on the crib transition last night. I didn’t get a chance to was his sheets to put on his crib and then I said screw it I might as well keep him with me.

mrsp84 I definitely felt so bad right before DD2 was born, and even before DD3, for the other kids. Felt bad for ‘messing things up’. Totally normal. Big hugs. sarahh a Hanna Andersson outlet is definitely worth a little detour! I like your style. Sorry you could t sleep. My neck is killing me. I’m pretty sure from staring down at my phone while nursing. Fail.

Just switched sides while nursing. When she opened her mouth she spit up all over my boob. Ew? Also I’ve moved past the Frozen songs being stuck in my head. Now it’s Can You Feel the Love Tonight from the Lion King. My brain is like the Disney Pandora station all the time. 🤦🏼♀️

Good luck, kbw! I’m up because I just moved from the bed to the couch. My hips cannot handle being laid on anymore. The second I laid back in the recliner, DD got up to see if I was ok. ❤️ So now she’s sleeping on the couch next to me. I’m just enjoying these last snuggles before we head to the hospital later today. On another note, I was an emotional wreck last night putting DD to bed for the last time as an only child. I’m excited (obviously) for another baby, but scared out of my mind for this new dynamic in our house and how everyone is going to adjust to change. It won’t be 3 of us anymore. And that made me a little sad. Pregnant and crazy here. This was me the other night with DS. He’s been my only for so long that I was struggling with it. But He’s super excited so I’m reminding myself of that.

I’m up. I cleaned out my diffuser yesterday when I realized I could use it as a tiny humidifier next to DS at night & I swear it has helped so much. I’m just running it with water & it’s acting similar to a cool mist humidifier so I think his congestion has been a lot better tonight! Unfortunately DD has been up a bunch from whatever things were “scary” in her room soooo not the best night of sleep for any of us except DS lol. This is a great idea. I'm totally doing this.

It doesn’t give as much as a regular humidifier would but I put it right next to him in our room and I think it helped! He slept a lot quieter last night than other nights haha.

MH is an ass and didn’t change the baby’s pjs or diaper before swaddling him. That of course woke him up and then he was hungry so now is after 10 and I haven’t gone to sleep yet. 😑

This is why I love my Fitbit haha in the morning I can see exactly when we were awake! This is exactly why i got rid of the fitbit with DD. One morning i looked at how much sleep we had(n't) gotten and cried. We have a sleepnumber bed that gives us days like that. I looked at it once after DS was born and I haven't looked since!

Baby boy is really gassy so he’s barely slept. H and I are both rxhausted since we only got about 3 hours I’d sleep before my water broke.
And holy hell do the cramps hurt while nursing.

I’m up with DS. The first night I’ve been able to actually enjoy his long stretch of sleep bc DD didn’t interrupt with a bad dream or something.

Anyone else have the laziest baby at night?? It freaks me out bc he sleeps a long time but then barely nurses in between before he falls back asleep & I cannot for the life of me get him to wake back up enough to nurse more. He is obviously growing but I wish he would feed better MOTN.

Omg idk what’s up with zbut he’s been a fussy gassy mess. Nothing’s changed 🤷🏻♀️ He started taking only partial bottles in weird positions. He struggles with constpiation and finally had a good poopy diaper so fx that helps

I couldn’t believe how bad the cramps were this time! I felt like I was in labor again! Hope you get some sleep!!

He is obviously growing but I wish he would feed better MOTN. This may mean he starts STTN sooner rather than later. Some babies get what they need during the day. When my DS1 started doing this I initially was concerned but then I rolled w it and it turned into great things.

I put DS down awake in the RNP at 9:30 and he fell asleep (all hail that auto-rock). He just now woke up at 2am!!! Nursing now and hoping he’ll go back in the RNP again.
In other news I guess the night sweats have started as I’m gross. 👎🏼

Guys...Guys..... I know I am going to jinx it by posting about it but Ian slept through the night. I am not even joking. He took a bottle down at 10. He made some noise at 2 but didn’t wake up. He did the same thing at 4 and 6:15. But he didn’t get up. 🤷🏻♀️ unfortunately I didn’t sleep the whole time because of worrying about him and MHs snoring. It’s probably a fluke but it’s a start!

So last night was awful. The plan was to have DD1 sleep on the pull out but after her fall yesterday I didn’t trust her to sleep out in the living room by herself so she slept in bed with us with the baby next to me in the pack n play. Baby was up ever hour for a little snack (she is also having issues night not having a decent feeding) and each time she woke up DD1 woke up too. Should make for a fun tantrumless day of sightseeing!
