Per my usual I woke up with a baby on the boob. I fall asleep after/during the first feeding on the first side every night like clockwork. Twice yesterday little man took a hard right out of nowhere while lying down, once with h and once with me. Im worried he could do that again so tonight I'm sleeping basically in the middle of the bed so he'd fall on the mattress.

We are up and I’m feeding little man. I’m only giving him 3 ounces because last night he didn’t finish any of his 4oz bottles. MH just got up for work. If the baby wants more, I will make MH bring it to me. Lol

I was too out of it to post in the middle of the night. Apparently if we don’t spend the evening crying, we don’t sleep. Lame. And she went from pooping once a day to once every 2-3 hours. Such a buzzkill.

I’m in bed. Little man is a grunty mess. I don’t foresee tonight going well. I hope everyone gets some sleep!

Saying a bedtime Hail Mary now. Last two nights were so bad. I think tonight is the night we correct! 🤞

As long as the poop continues to be normal looking it isn’t a cause for concern. I remember the first time DD2 really started not going often I called the pedi after, 8 days I think? And she told me to call back if she went longer than two weeks. I was rather surprised. Two weeks seemed like such a long time! But she did go about once every 8-10 days. It was so weird.

Accidentally fell asleep on the couch holding baby. She went from 6:20-11:35 without nursing. I think I was asleep for 1.5 hours so that non nursing stretch wasn’t completely for nothing, but dang. I would have liked it over the course of the night. Hoping she goes back to sleep for at least a few hours after this.

We’re on our first wake up. She went from 9:00-1:00, hopefully I’ll get another good stretch from her after this! 🙏🏻

I might actually be sleeping at 10:30 tonight, man it’s been forever. I am tired. Fx h lets me sleep in with L tomorrow morning. I could use a few more hours of sleep. I really don’t know how some people function without coffee. It seriously gives me life in the morning. Hope you ladies get some good sleep tonight.

We are up for his first feeding. I’m trying to get him to eat more right now. He is falling asleep after only 2 ounces and I know he can take more and I don’t want him waking up in two hours.

Sigh. Insomnia is a bitch. I'm still up from Lo's 2am wake up and it's almost 4.

So he went from 8:30-2! He didn’t nurse amazing at 2 so I figure we wouldn’t have another long stretch like that so here we are again at 5:30. But I prefer this bc I’ll get another hour and a half before DD wakes up.

Little man slept from 9:45-2:30 and then 3-6:30. I’m feeding him now. I got up and showered before he got up so I feel semi human. He was very grunty between 4 and 6 which made sleep difficult for me. I think we are transitioning him to his crib tonight.

The newborn has been doing fabulous at night but my almost 2 year old has woken up multiple times the last two nights. Yawn.

I may need to write down sleep times because I’m always confused in the morning. I “think” she slept around 9-1:30 but maybe she went to bed later. After that she was up at 4:30 and 7 so not bad.

The newborn has been doing fabulous at night but my almost 2 year old has woken up multiple times the last two nights. Yawn. I vividly remember a night when DD3 was about 8 months old. We’d be trying to more or less sleep train since 6 months. She is my most stubborn child no doubt. It was maybe the second night she ever slept more than a three hour stretch. But DD1 and DD2 each got up like twice for dumb reasons. On the third wake up when DD1 strolled into our room DH basically screamed “You have got to be kidding me!” Not one of his prouder moments, but seriously. All other child wake ups are infinitely more irritating when you have a sleeping baby.

She was up at 11:35, 3:15 and 6:15. Not horrible but I much prefer longer. Lol. She did go right back to sleep after each feeding, me on the other hand. Why does it take us moms so long to go back to sleep. If I try not to play on my phone so as to maybe fall back asleep earlier, I wind up falling asleep nursing and I dislike that more.

Ugh that was prob our worst night yet. She slept from 9:00-1:00, then was up at 2 and 3. That’s when I pulled her back into bed with me and she slept another 2.5 hours. I don’t know what her deal was. She was very grunty and squirmy but not crying. She just couldn’t settle down. Sigh. I’m tired.

Lol I am transitioning him for selfish reasons. I think if he is further away from me, I won’t hear the grunting and may sleep better. He does sleep pretty good so I am definitely not complaining. I was spoiled by his unicorn sister though. She was sleeping through the night at this point so this is new territory for me.

Once I got up and took a hot shower on my back it wasn't that bad. ❤️ I was just saying to my H I wish I knew why it was so much harder on me this time around! A lot is probably due to chasing my toddler but still.

Two nights ago she did her only stretch longer than 90 minutes from 7:30-11:45. She is usually up and down nursing this whole time so I wasted it putzing around until 10 when I figured I’d just lay down until she started squwaking. What a waste.

It’s very helpful as a reminder of when they are, pooped slept etc. they have this chart that’s hard to explain but gives you a user friendly glance comparing your baby’s days of eating, sleeping, and diapering etc.
