After the rough evening she slept 10:45 to 4:40. I was sleep by 11. 5.5 hours!!! Wohoo!! If she goes back to sleep I could get a little more, but honestly I’m debating if that would make me more tired.

DS gave me a 4.5 & a 4 hr stretch!! DD will be up in an hour & a half so I’m also debating going back to sleep because I know I’ll feel groggy after but also still so tired haha.

MH text me at 5 to tell me he was coming home because he offered him the day off. I didn’t hear my door open so I have no idea if he is actually home or not so I can take a shower without having to worry about timing around the kids. I also couldn’t fall back to sleep after he text me. 😑

I am jealous of the long stretches some of you are getting from your babies in the middle of the night.

We are still at 2:30 to 3 hour stretches as our long ones. ive definitely never been this spoiled by a babe. And this is out of the norm. But it feels so dang good to get some consecutive hours that’s for sure. I ended up getting up and walking on the treadmill then taking a shower because I was so pumped about it.

Why do babies hate the evenings so much? 7-10pm has become a cluster. I don’t mind if you want to be held. But can you please just snuggle and sleep while I sit on the damn couch and watch TV? And of course that is the only time during the week that DH sees DD4 so he is not really getting to connect like I am. We’re hopefully getting closer to sleep.

C fussed so much between 8 and 10 when I wanted to eat and watch shows.

I just finished little mans first feeding of the night. I knew that I wasn’t going to get another night like last night, that would be too good. I just hope he sleeps for awhile now.

I think I need to up the boys bottles? Second night in a row they act fussy and unsettled until I cave and give them then next bottle at like 1.5 hours which they chug and then immediately sleep...
I EBF DS1 so this whole figuring out how mUch to put in the bottles is new to me lol

H was consistently taking 100-120mL per feed and then the last 2 days, all over the place. 50mL then 140mL then 80mL. Come on buddy, go back to being at least semi consistent! But he did just sleep for over 3.5 hours. I think that’s the longest stretch he’s ever done. Hoping that just keeps improving from here.

Just finished wake up #2. She’s consistently waking up every 2.5 - 3 hours and not finishing bottles. A few weeks ago she was drinking 4 oz a feeding and now it’s 2-3. Maybe she just likes seeing my face more often?

Maybe she just likes seeing my face more often? The past two nights he went about 5 or 6 hours without a bottle at night. Tonight has been barely every three hours. I think it’s because he wouldn’t finish any of his 4 oz bottles during the day. I also vaguely remember hearing there is a 6 week regression or growth spurt or something like that. Our babies would be in the middle of all that right now.

When I was really sick I started dropping my MOTN pump. Well I'm feeling better and ghee woke up right around when I usually pump so I opted to pump instead of feed/ change him. Thank God for a helpful DH!

teraiin my first was completely formula fed and I don’t recall ever feeling totally lost on how much to feed her. My second was EBF, but at one point I toyed with weaning early and doing formula. But I was freaking out. How much do I put in the bottles? How often do I feed her? How do people figure it out?!?! Lol. I was so stressed about it I just stuck with nursing. Despite having successfully fed DD1. You could try adding another ounce or so for a few feedings and see how it goes!

And he is waking up again I think. Of course this is the first night he has had three wake ups in awhile because I am alone today with both kids until 9ish tonight.

He sort of fussed for 30 minutes but ultimately did wake up. Ugh. I haven’t had a night with three wake ups in at least 2 weeks. I can’t even let both kids sleep in because I have to get G up for school.

It also doesn’t help that each bottle has to be specifically mixed for each baby because they are in different ratios of formula to breast milk. I ended up buying two of the dr brown formula pitchers so I could mix up a decent amount for each baby and not have to struggle with measurements in the middle of the night lol

Baby woke me up with her crying and then passed out after drinking 1 oz so expect to see me back in about an hour!

I was so out of it. Heard baby fussing, didn’t look at the clock, and immediately got her out to feed her. Just realized it’s only been an hour. Wah wah.

Omg this night. DS has been asleep since 9, it’s almost 2 now and I’ve been up twice but not bc of him. DD had one of her weird “night terror/fits” around midnight (basically she’s like out of body for a few minutes screaming and won’t let us help her at all) and then woke us again just now because she took her pull-up off & peed in her bed. And my genius self made the bed w new sheets over the mattress cover without realizing it was also wet. I started to cry when I realized it & that I’ll have to wash every set of her sheets tomorrow. On top of that, DS has a little cough that sounds bad so I’m freaking out about that. Even though he’s sleeping & breathing fine so it’s orobablt just clearing drainage but still.
