I just accidentally deleted a big paragraph I had typed... ugh.
DS1(6) has the flu this week. He'll miss the entire week of school, which sucks partly because he was supposed to start tutoring this week. His neutrophils were a little lower than we like them to be, so the NP is playing it conservatively and having us just plan to stay home until next week. Honestly while I don't like him being sick, I'm not minding the forced hibernation. 2018 is the fucking worst so far and I'm over it.
QOTW: Hmmm. I don't even know! That's a tough one.

Ugh, hawkward, I'm so sorry. The flu is so bad this year. enchanted - I LOVED ER. Loved it. J's 4.5 going on 16. She's been okay. We had some listening issues at school and at home recently. I think she's bored at school. They're working on things she already knows and the teacher is having some trouble redirecting J because 1) J wants to be part of the group, not by herself; 2) she's interested, but not focused because she knows the material; and 3) because she's 4.5 and antsy. It was better this week and we've discussed how to move forward, but she's got a long time before kindergarten in September. Dance starts next weekend and I can't wait to get her back to it! She's been antsy. So antsy. QOTW: I'm struggling with this. Probably because I just want a channel that shows the classic episode from every show, like a "best of sitcoms" channel.

oldbaylover1024, that age is so frustrating for that- mentally big enough for more but just not physically there yet. I'm glad it's better this week!
