DS2 turned three today! I still can't believe we have him sometimes, but it also feels like he's been here forever.
Warning: GROSS story below...
He smashed his penis with the toilet seat Saturday morning, and it looks awful. It's totally bruised, but the doctor doesn't think he did any major damage. Obviously it hurt a lot, and it still does. I didn't take him to the doctor at first because although the bruises look bad, he could still pee and didn't bleed or anything *too* bad. H finally convinced me to get it checked out yesterday, and DS2 explaining to his doctor what happened was kind of awful/hilarious. "I was peein' and SLAM THE TOILET KNOCKED MY PENIS OFF (with lots of dramatic hand gestures) and now it's sad." He stopped using the potty for a few days, but now he's **very cautiously** back to it.
I'm okay. 2018 is still not looking up around here-- DS1 has the flu and I had pink eye (still a little sore but not gross looking anymore), we had to cancel our fun plans for today, but hopefully we can do something this weekend.
QOTW: I'm kind of liking 33. Some days I feel old, but most of the time I feel good and I'm a lot more confident than I used to be. Maybe it's because I spent a large part of my 20s in PCOS hell though.

Age: 3 years
Milestones: Nothing really specific! His imagination and memory astounds me. 100% potty trained except wears pull-ups at night for a few months now. Vocabulary is pretty extensive and most of the time I have no idea if the words he uses for various trains, trucks, etc are correct!
Challenges: Moved to toddler bed last week. He has not STTN since. Good part is he doesn't cry, he just comes to my room and gets under the covers and sleeps until I wake him up, but still...
Funny/cute stories: The other night he woke up at 4:45am and crawled into my bed, woke me up and said,"Turn off the (hall) light I am trying to sleep!" When I brought him back to his bed he said,"I'm just going to climb out and go back to mommy's bed." Sigh. I think I'm going to sleep on his floor-worked for when we transitioned to his crib/room.
How are you? Good...we're all been sick and just finding feeling better.
Anything else? It's still early into winter, but I want summer!
QOTW: Hmmm...probably 30.
