I just woke up from a nap and am so nauseous and really really REALLY craving a soft serve twist ice cream. H won't be home from work for at least another couple hours, so looks like I'll be trekking out once DD wakes up from her nap.

I also just woke up from a nap! DD got a helmet today and she is really excited about wearing it so we will probably be "biking" later today. She just has the push bike for now but she is getting the balance bike for her birthday in a few weeks.
We are going for Indian food tonight and I'm really excited.

TMI POST AHEAD******WARNING: GRAPHIC PICTURE having a tough couple of days I've been spotting brown for a week and 4 days not every time I wipe but at least once a day. Yesterday I wiped and it was the most I've seen mixed with some pink. I called my dr freaking out and wondering if she got my hcg levels back and she did. They all increased as they should and my ultrasound Wednesday showed a good heartbeat and everything normal. My cervix was also closed. I just went to the washroom and say brown with clot/tissue? I'm sorry if my pictures are offensive and I'm just really scared and wondering if anyone has had any experience? Edit to remove gross picture Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

maddisonrose i had that with DS1. Much worse too with red blood. Just my experience, but I hope the same outcome for you. It's a total mind f*ck. This may sound messed up but I think with extreme spotting with DS1 was harder on me mentally than either of my miscarriages. Part of that is because it was my first but it was so hard to get through the day. I didn't want to pee for fear of what I'd see! Just letting you know you are not alone and it doesn't always mean the worst. 🤞🏻 For you. I be encouraged by your u/s and your #s!

Went to the Cubs game yesterday. Not being able to drink beer wasn't the best but I was glad I could still wear my normal clothes and the weather was perfect.
I mentioned this earlier in the week but DS2 came down with the stomach flu. I thought we were in the clear but DS1 puked into his happy meal box. He then tried to get the toy out. No. He doesn't seem as bad as DS2 but we have to skip t ball, a BBQ, swimming lessons tomorrow etc. I hate germs so much. but he did start in the middle of the day which debunked my "they only start puking at midnight" theory.

I've felt soooo sick today. Puked a few times & took a nap. A girlfriend stopped by and we were talking about this pregnancy compared to DD, and I think I am so much more sick than I was with her. I mean I was teaching full time in a tough school with six classes of 35-40 kids each and somehow I made it through the day. There's no way I'd survive that right now.

My Zofran is causing intense constipation. Any suggestions for relief? It's so tempting to reach for that laxative but that's a no no, right?
I think I overdid it the last 2 days. I hosted a rummage sale in 90 degree heat. I tried to stay out of the sun and drank tons of water. After we picked up today and had lunch I got very dizzy/light headed and the room was spinning when I closed my eyes to rest. The spinning has stopped but I'm just drained.

jessijean ask your dr. I took stool softener in third tri with my first because I was on iron pills and needed it. It was fine.

maddisonrose I am sorry you are stressing. I am still spotting too. Sometimes pretty badly and sometimes it's pinkish. I have no passed a clot but my dr assured me that with a strong heartbeat, a closed cervix and if it's not filling a pad, I would be ok. I am hoping it's the same for you. With that I am still super worried so I get it.

Haha if you need a laxative, miralax is safe to use. I was needing that + colace when I was pregnant with my DD because I was so constipated

jessijean I've been taking two stool softeners daily and I guess it's helping a little. With DD I mixed miralax in a drink once a day. If it gets bad enough this time I may try that again.

Had my first ultrasound this morning, and everything looked good! A little blob with a heartbeat of 136. Measuring 7 weeks, so official due date is now January 20.
Then for dinner H, DD and I went to a really good Thai place, and who would have thunk, but DD had her best restaurant meal ever. She loved her pineapple fried rice, tried new foods and liked them, sat happily at the table the whole meal - it was a miracle! We were thrilled!
And then we all got food poisoning.

Aw, thanks you guys! But we're fine. It was just an evening of diarrhea for the whole household.😬
So reading all those constipation posts I was thinking hmmm...Thai food could help...

It was mostly a lazy Saturday. I took an awesome nap, DH did a little outside work, DS and I played outside, and that's really about it. Tomorrow will be more productive - cleaning to do and errands to run.
