1. How did last week go? Full of indulgence since we started officially yesterday! But yesterday was good. I felt STARVING after dinner but chugged water, brushed/flossed/mouthwashed, and made it until breakfast. 2. What is your long-term goal? Get healthier 3. What is your short-term goal this week? Average 1200 calories/day; no sweets on weekdays at least 4. What is your favorite exercise or workout? The elliptical or indoor badminton (can't do now with my injured ankle) GTKY: What song are you really in to right now? Mika's "Rio" - caught DH singing along with me last night lol!

2. What is your long-term goal (weight loss, tone up, stay healthy)? significant weight loss, 30lbs to start for IVF and then I'd love to make it back under 200 for the first time since college, so about 60 lbs total. 75-85 total lost would be much closer to my ideal.
3. What is your short-term goal this week? start adding workouts to this keto diet
4. What is your favorite exercise or workout? anything dance-y or zumba-like
GTKY: What song are you really in to right now? my IVF/workout/get up/motivational song is Defying Gravity, the single version from Idina Menzel. But, lately I've been loving What About Us from Pink!

1. How did last week go? The diet and exercise went well. I did get on the scale and it was....not good. I gained almost 6 pounds over the holidays. Why is it so easy to gain and so hard to lose?!
2. What is your long-term goal (weight loss, tone up, stay healthy)? I just want to be healthier which means losing some weight.
3. What is your short-term goal this week? I want to keep up my momentum from last week. So far so good.
4. What is your favorite exercise or workout? My favorite is swimming, but I just cannot do that right now lol. I don’t have a big enough block of time.
GTKY: What song are you really in to right now? Nothing in particular right now. I’ve been listening to classical lately and I’m just now readjusting post-Christmas music lol!

1. How did Last week go? I lost almost 5lbs!! I’m so excited!
2. What is your long-term goal? Lose close to 100lbs. My first goal is to get to 200lbs (a 60ish lb loss), and then to get to a healthy sustainable weight.
3. What is your shirt-term goal this week? I’d like to lose another 5lbs. I’m doing keto, and it seems that my body agrees with it. I’ve also started adding in exercises (today was weights focusing on legs).
4. What is your favorite exercise or workout? Leg Press. I’m good at it. Today I did 220lbs, 3 reps of 12.
GTKY: what song are you really in to right now? Kesha - Woman. It’s got a great beat, and is totally about woman power!

sunshiney I'm glad you were able to resist eating more after dinner! I like working out on an elliptical too! It's my preferred gym exercise. Have you added in any workouts yet fikafairy? obscureference Good job on doing well with diet and exercise. Sorry you gained weight over the holidays. It's so easy to do. Yay for weight loss librariangirl! I'm glad you're doing well with keto. Good job adding in exercises!

1. How did last week go? Well...I didn't actually start anything good until this week. I did join a weight loss thing at work yesterday though.
2. What is your long term goal? I would love to lose 75-100lbs!
3. What is your short term goal? To not gain any weight this week
4. What is your favorite exercise or workout? I really don't like going to a gym to workout. I strongly prefer playing a game/sport or participating in an outdoor activity for exercise. I love to hike and ride horses. For a gym exercise, I prefer the elliptical. Speaking of...we're buying an elliptical! One was for sale locally, and we got a steal on it. We looked at it tonight, and we're going to pick it up on Saturday!
GTKY: What song are you really in to right now? I am absolutely obsessed with Ed Sheeran's Perfect with Andrea Bocelli. It is so awesome!

orangehibiscus Yay for your own elliptical! I hope it is very motivating while you wait for the weather to cooperate with outdoor activities. librariangirl Whoa!! Congratulations. It must feel awesome to see the scale move like that. Great work! obscureference Holidays are the worst for weight. It's not your fault! It happens to us all! fikafairy I always forget about dancing, it's so helpful for maintaining a positive self body concept while focusing on weight loss...you have inspired me to do a dance-y workout before DH gets home (not brave enough to do it with him around yet, lol)! I hope your workouts this week are awesome. I have to say, healthy choices really beget more healthy choices. Just a few days ago, I didn't imagine it was possible for me to control my eating habits, but I get so much more confidence and willpower every time I make a good choice! (And there's like a million times a day we have to go, no I won't eat this...it's like working out a mental muscle I didn't have!)

ooo! I want to join! 1. How did last week go? I couldn't start working out until Sunday- just getting back into the swing of things with gf/df/sf.
2. What is your long-term goal (weight loss, tone up, stay healthy)? My long term goal is to stay healthy enough for a successful transfer.
3. What is your short-term goal this week? short term goal is to work out 4 times. 2 down.
4. What is your favorite exercise or workout? I love PiYo. This is my 3rd round of it. Last year I lost 35 pounds on it and eating well. It mixes the Yoga that is so good for you, but with strength of pilates. super awesome.
GTKY: What song are you really in to right now? Filthy. I'm a huge JT fan... but I think it's mostly because I'm an even bigger Michael Jackson fan.

I can guess the g/f and s/f (sugar free?) but what is d/f? Dairy free? Just curious! Yeah, it's gluten free, dairy free, and soy free- it's part of an anti-inflammation diet. It worked well to help control my endo symptoms last year, so I'm hoping if I can recreate it then it will be a good environment to hopefully house my one little frozen embie for a successful transfer.

I'd like to join in! I'd like to lose a little weight, but also just get better at eating healthy. 1. How did last week go? I was on vacation weight lose and healthy eating resumes today 2. What is your long-term goal (weight loss, tone up, stay healthy)? I'd like to lose about 15 lbs, and get better at eating healthy all the time. I get bad when I'm stressed, and I'd like to get better. 3. What is your short-term goal this week? Eat more vegetables, and get some moderate exercise every day. 4. What is your favorite exercise or workout? I like hiking in the mountains. GTKY: What song are you really in to right now? My SIL gave me the Anastasia Broadway cast recording for Christmas, and I'm a tad obsessed.
