Clueless first time mum here... What do you do with your baby during the day/awake hours? BabyWaffles doesn't seem to be keen on her playmat or bouncy chair and only wants to be right next to us on the couch/in our arms.
Also, what are their awake hours?
BabyWaffles tends to like sleeping in and be more awake/active in the early afternoon and between 8 and 11pm, which is not great for preparing dinner etc
Do you have any tips on how to get her on a day / night schedule?
We do keep all the lights on, noise levels normal etc during the day but it does not seem to phase her.

I honestly don't worry about a schedule during the day at this point. I think all that comes later (6ish months).
When he wants to cuddle, we do. When he's awake we just chill and I'll talk to him some and sing some songs (not the whole time he's awake). Also, when he's hungry, I feed him, no schedule.
I also try to do tummy time when we do diaper changes.

No real schedule yet here either. I try to play when he’s awake so he knows day time but he still naps a lot during the day. And since he’s still sick, I’m not forcing awake time.

That makes me feel so much better guys, thanks!
I genuinely don't know my way around anything baby related and didn't get to read anything before she got here as I was paranoid and she arrived early, so expect stupid questions from me!

I follow his schedule which is somewhat unpredictable at this time. I actually try and get at least one activity in for me and he’s just there.
When he’s awake I try tummy time and may time. If he’s into great, if not NBD.
He’s usually fussy around the same time DD gets home so I wind up putting him in the sling to play with DD.
