J wants to put on his socks by himself but can barely get it over his toe. But I can't help so we sit there for SEVERAL MINUTES while he attempts it. And then finally he gives in and says Mama help.

Well, suppository did diddly for K last night. She woke up in a good mood and was running/dancing so I am sending her into daycare. She also had 3 packets of applesauce. So, hopefully she'll do something there and I won't have a constipated toddler by myself tonight. I thought applesauce and apples were binding, while apple juice was....the opposite of binding (unbinding?). This is very possible, but it is all she would eat. :-(

I had a dream with RunsforWineandCarbs in it. She was going to propose to this super hot guys she was dating but he was being weird and elusive. We thought he was shitty to her. Dreams are weird.

I had a full on tantrum complete with hands waving and feet stomping. DH was getting ready to leave for work and the boys weren't ready. I started bitching that I never start work on time and I'm sick of it. DH stuck around to help finish getting them ready.

The mad rush in the morning is insane. And of course, H has to leave for work earlier than me so I'm stuck with the crazy. I usually end up saying that I am not taking DS to daycare anymore and that he can do it, but then of course I end up taking him.

Hey ladies 👋 G is finally back at school today, so H and I are building blocks and working on colors while S is sleeping in his swing. H is incredibly frustrating and I have no idea what he actually knows. He thinks it's funny to be contrary and stubborn. Potty training is not going well.
Can you guys tell me what you would do in my situation, regarding G and kindergarten? I've consulted with her preschool teachers, but they really won't tell me which way they would go. They say that they're very torn, and she does well following directions, doing her work, listening, etc in class. She makes our K cutoff by 2 weeks. Socially, she's a bit shy and unconfident(I have social anxiety and think maybe G deals with it to an extent also), academically she's very smart. Knows all of her letters, numbers, can count to 40, we're teaching her how to read and do basic math now because she wants to learn. Physically, she's the size of the 5 year olds in her preschool class, and continues to surpass developmental milestones.

I only have a 2 year old so please take my advice for what it's worth. Lol. She sounds like she is already learning things she would learn in kindergarten and I'd be afraid she would be bored next year if you waited.

Can you ask her teachers to help her with her social confidence throughout the remainder of this year? My DS's teachers have been great with this as we're preparing for kindergarten next year, as he's always been very anxious and reserved around peers. It's been awesome to see him come out of his shell and develop genuine friendships.

mommabakes, I agree she sounds ready to me. K may just help with her shyness too. And if not, I bet the year wouldn't really change it much anyway!

My coworker hired a bunch of staff and I am laughing because I am so hyper organized and they all laugh about my checklists, etc. But watching him try to coordinate new staff and get all the forms/requests right is hilarious. Not stepping in.

mommabakes, I would just see how the rest of the year goes. There’s a boy in Isaac’s class that is a June birthday (cut off is sept 1) and he could have gone to kinder last year. The mom sign him up and then in summer realized he wasn’t ready (socially) and pulled him and he did one more year of preschool. I’m glad too because it’s one of Isaacs biggest buddies.

Apples, Apple sauces, apple juice, grapes, and pears all aid in pooping.
Bananas and yogurt are good to aid in not pooping.

mommabakes I was the young kid who was shy, but excelled at school. Doing well academically helped me open up some. I'd think she was ready.

Hi! I've been lurking some. I applied for a supervisor position at work today, so I'm excited and nervous about that. When I think about how happy I am at my current job compared to the misery that was my previous job, it's just astounding. It feels like the years of hard work I've put into many different things are paying off. So now Fx I get the job!

So H and C went to dinner with his step brother (his wife who I could never see again and be okay) and others from that side of the family. They went to a restaurant that I will not eat at (sorry, if you can't make decent corn, you aren't worthy of my funds). Kids all had fun together and she played nice. They "want to meet Kaylee". The kid that I was carrying and put first over other things that made me a selfish human being. Eff that noise. I will tell H he can take her if he wants, but I am not going to play nice with that self-centered bitch. Sorry, not sorry.
