Today is anniversary of Haitian earthquake?
Anderson teared up reading about people rescuing a five year old boy trapped for seven days under concrete. With their bare hands.
I don’t know where we as a country go from here that his vile words are spoken aloud and accepted. Im angry I’m sad I feel so defeated.

If they can get a clean CHIP bill and DACA protections, I would see that as playing good defense by the Dems.
And hopefully the GOP in the Senate and House will not be able to agree on reconciliation.

Because why do something just because it actually helps people? Why not use it as a political bargaining chip instead? |

I've been reading a bunch of Twitter. One theory is that this shithole comment is a ploy for his base to agree with him and deflect from the wall discussion (not really needing a physical wall).
I don't give any credit to his own ability to strategize like that but it would explain his staff's lack of statement about it.
Just this week, Sam's Club had layoffs, Carrier laid off more, and the wall actually isn't going to be a wall. What better way to remind his base that he speaks their truth?
