I'm just...at the shithole comments. Not surprised because he showed us who he was from the begininng. I'm just sad and angry that people can continue to support him and how spineless how the GOP are. There is no line he will cross that will make them speak out against him and it's so infuriating.

Several reporters were saying that on Twitter, but it appears Trump hasn't even appointed an ambassador to Haiti (shocking). I'll edit my post. ETA and it turns out the Panama ambassador resigned December 27th. So... Lots of misinformation going around. |

Really curious if NPR will be saying shithole on air. They did not. Only said it was “profane language.” I was relieved to get home and discover he’d just used the term shithole because, honestly I was expecting worse. He is human garbage, and I do not understand how he’s still president. Also: fucking gross that his base will actually find this language appealing. If anywhere is a shit hole right now, it’s here, and the biggest 💩 in the 🚽 is Trump. David Green said it on Morning Edition this a.m. He seemed quite pained and annoyed and befuddled. |
