C didn't go to sleep until 11pm last night but luckily slept until 8am today. It was my day to sleep in so I slept until 10. It was nice but my shoulder hurts more today. I don't know if I slept on it wrong or over extended myself yesterday. We are currently at a bounce house place letting C burn some energy.
My mom is having us over for a pot roast dinner tonight and I can't wait. With one arm I can make frozen ravioli and eggs. That's about it so it will be nice to have a good home cooked meal.

It's been so cold, C only wears sleepers with feet all the time. He was gifted several Carters fleece outfits with the zip up hooded tops. I want to try to exchange them. I feel like the hood chokes him and the zippers are always in his mouth. In other news, I just put on my jeans and they zip and button!!! I can't actually wear them out because I would win worlds biggest muffin top and my incision might bust open but I'm calling it a win on day 27. That’s great! You’re funny.

Hello! Colin woke up dry, Chase slept soundly - again - in his 70+ degree room, and I had a great run on the treadmill. Of course we had to run errands in 0 degree weather and our downstairs is 65 degrees despite the heat being set to 70... I feel cold into my bones.
Also Chase has a new word: hockey. Of course.

That moment when you start your new year’s health plan tomorrow and as a last hang you order pizza and they arrive 45 minutes early 😡.

I am taking the big kids to my nephew's birthday party. It's 45 minutes away so this will be the longest I have been away from C. Hopefully, I will be ok.

Just impulsively signed j up for 12 weeks of swim class that people rave about. Only problem is that it's 50 min away😬. At least it's near my mom's if we are ever there overnight. He better be a fish by the time this is over.

I never liked the gowns. Sleepers with feet are my favorite. Especially with winter babies. Those were my go to newborn clothes. I preferred a zipper to snaps. All of this. I put gowns on C a few times, but always felt like they would ride up or something.

😂😂 We have been month to month renting for years...I really want to be in a house for the holidays next year. It took us 2 months to pick a car, we are very indecisive people. I started talking to an agent in September, but we still haven't gotten pre qualified. The spring market is already starting.. a house went on the market Friday we had some interest in and it just went pending this morning, before the open house.I can't see how we will ever move fast enough to get a house. That's how things were when we bought our house. If you're working with a realtor they can get you in to see houses before open houses. You just have to move FAST with an offer and ususlly go in full price. We actually sold our last house before it was technically on the market. The realitor asked if they could show it to a few people (we were still deciding if we wanted to list it) and we got 2 full priced offers.

I meant to comment before nam2013 but Edinburgh is one of my favorite places! I visited for a weekend while I was working in the UK and I was miserable because I knew DH would love it and he wasn't there. Haha. It was just so amazing to see the juxtaposition of the old town and the more modern areas. I also did a tour of the underground areas, it was fascinating.

It's supposed to get up to 35 tomorrow but schools are already on delay because it's going to sleet/snow/rain all night.

Ours hit the market on a Thursday but we had multiple people try to see it early. We had multiple offers the first/only weekend. I’m really hoping the market won’t be quite that crazy when/if we get back in 2 years; we know what we want and are fairly decisive but it stresses me out to think about.

Just announced that schools will be closed again tmrw, so preschool will follow suit. Bummer. Other than last Wednesday, B has been out of school for one month. 🙄
My neighbor invited us down to play so I took B over earlier. Her husband piled snow up their front steps to create a little sledding hill for the kids. B was in heaven! They have a detached garage with a gorgeous stone fireplace so the moms hung out around that while the kiddos played.

Afternoon, all.
Since we are all Star Wars all the time, I realized that the only one I haven’t seen in full is The Force Awakens, so I’m watching it now. It’s 2.5 hrs so i’ll watch it over a couple days, I do not have 2.5 hrs to just sit.
We’re going to my Mom’s to get B later and have dinner, yay for not cooking 🎉

I stayed in bed until noon. After lunch mh took Cadence to his Dad's and I ran some quick errands. Now I'm starting the Crown while the blue in my hair sets and I have a foot mask on my feet.
