I started reading yesterday and wow. It’s acrually hard for me to read in large chunks partly because the author is so long winded and partly because reading about trump for long periods of time isn’t fun lol.
The things that have stuck out to me so far are the CIA speech (I don’t know if I forgot it or if I have never read it fully but holy fucking shit), trump really really really wanted Christie as VP, Banon (at the dinner party with Ailes) made it seem like he could get Donald to do whatever agenda those two had.
I probably won’t be here to add much today. We have a funeral pretty far away but I wanted to start this if anyone else starts reading today.

Brannon, kush, Ivanka and Conway had no job description when they first got to the White House. They literally did whatever they wanted.

Damn he talks a lot of shit on Miller. Calls him a 55 year old stuck in a 32 year olds body.
Said he was supposed to be the intellectual but is militantly unread.

I’ve only read the excerpts in the media but holy cow. Such a satisfying read, confirming all the incompetence. Amusing and horrifying, all at once.

Militantly unread is such an appropriate term. Dude really refuses to equip his brain with anything that doesn't align with his existing views.
Despite the fact that if he was really smart he'd be able to read anything and understand how to incorporate into his views or refute it cleverly. But that's asking too much. He's just everything terrible about toxic masculinity.

My favorite bit so far is when Skippy announced that he could marry Joe and Mika bc he's an ordained minister. Like....wtf? Lol

The author came out on Bill Maher last nignt and said there is a "read between the lines" on a woman that is currently trumps lover. He said its towards the end of the book. Any guesses?
I didn't read. So basically I'm just here wanting dirt on trump.

My H came home from Costco with the book yesterday, so I'm hoping to join in the conversation once I find the time.

Hope Hicks makes more sense to me than Nikki Haley. I haven’t read, that’s just based on everything else I’ve seen.

Yes and o just can’t see Nikki Haley. I feel she barely tolerated Trump and his behavior towards her doesn’t seem anything special.

I am reading this now. I got it as an ebook from my library so I had to wait a bit. What strikes me the most is the gross incompetence of this entire administration. It actually makes me feel slightly better... like they don't have policy writers, etc. that are experienced, so can they actually achieve that much?
It was also interesting how they choose to do things specifically to rile up liberals. I definitely play right into that outrage.
Trump really doesn't seem to have a clear agenda besides winging it and hoping he will become more famous/rich.
Weird that he WANTS the fake news/media to like him, and is put out that everyone actually despises him.
He is a clear sociopath in my mind. A fumbling, not-too-bright one.
