Gym, laundry, grocery shop are all in my days plan. Sounds exciting, huh? This makes me think of the adult version of GTL from the Jersey Shore.

I think you took the comment out of context jedi. I wasn't commenting like who are these people I was just commenting I didn't recognize most of them and that they were mean. Which they were and rude...I never got that vibe from the old regs that moved over here. I always felt welcomed when I participated, but with the attitude of a few select that are posting there, I wouldn't post. Your comment didn't bother me. It was Betweenthelines But why? A group of people jumped in there being extremely territorial and rude. That makes you want to post with them? Parenting was very welcoming and everyone has this impression of them that they weren't, so they were afraid to post. That's on them. If you (general) jumped in a posted, you would've seen that.

I have and did jump in on threads occasionally and always felt weird. Like I didn't belong. Yes. That's on me. But my feelings are still valid even if that wasn't the intention. I guess I don't see what the big deal is that a bunch of lurkers who decided to stay on TCF started posting in parenting. I took your "like they've been there all along" as they shouldn't be posting there now. I guess I misunderstood. My apologies

General discussions has so many new faces. There is no reason you should feel out of place. No need to apologize. You're completely entitled to your feelings and opinion. I just hope you don't feel like that over here. A lot of people jumped out of lurking in General Discussions since the move. Don't feel like you can't or won't fit. There is a place for everyone.

I had a CTJ talk with DH yesterday about how he's been buckling our kids' car seats. I made him watch some videos and I think I eventually got him to see why proper buckling is so important. We've had this conversation multiple times over the past few years though and it's still an issue. If he doesn't fix this he won't be driving our kids anymore.
I'm just losing patience with having the same conversations over and over...

booarogue, I love the hair! I dyed my hair purple in my mid-20s and loved it - I had to bleach it twice first to get the color to stick, but it lasted for a long time and wasn't too hard to keep up with (I'm also a bit lazy when it comes to hair and didn't mind showing some roots) In my teens I had pretty much every color except orange and pink. Haven't done anything but "natural" hair colors in the last decade or so. The last time my hair got Dyed black accidentally so I've been wary. I'm going to ask my stylist if there's something that would grow out well.

mamascarlett I used the colorista for dark hair. It worked but there are definitely cons. It Dyed the bottom of my shower just rinsing it down the drain. And the color is kind of patchy (can't really tell because my hair is dark). It also comes out on my fingers /nails when I scratch my scalp or run my fingers through my hair. I would definitely recommend going to Sally's and getting a better semi permanent but for $10 I'm not mad at it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

I need all the coffee too. DH is in a foul mood because of his mom. It's making things difficult. DS party is today so I made the dirt cake this morning and I'm just getting things ready. I am so thankful it's somewhere else and I don;t have to clean the house haha.

booarogue last summer I did red and purple. It was fun, but did not last too long, especially the purple. It did fade rather nicely though. My BFF always does bold colours, and basically our stylist (we go to the same girl) said it takes a couple applications for it to start to hold and maintain the colour. Also washing less helps (and I can 'sometimes' go two days without washing, but generally I have to wash my hair everyday) Here it was: Poof Now I need to figure out what colour to do next for me...currently it's fairly blah

redandblue I love it! My good friend does some wild coloring. Maybe you can get some ideas from her work. PDQ Bottom left is her 8 year old son 😊

Betweenthelines those colours are Ah-Mazing!!! Omg! So rich and beautiful! My last colour I went a basic carmel/deep brown combo. It really needs to be re-done, but I hate doing the same thing twice!

Betweenthelines I love that 'unicorn' looking one. I wish my hair was stronger and longer and could stand doing something like that! It's beautiful!

The dirt cake is a novelty (used to be my favourite too!) but with almost zero effort haha its amazing. Mix and dump into a bowl.
