Right now DS (almost 2.5) is still in a crib. I'm afraid to move him but he has climbed out twice (both during nap) so I haven't bought a second crib. I figure the baby will be in the bassinet for 6 months or so and by then DS might have forced our hand. If he is still happily in the crib we might buy a cheap one or use the pack n play.

I'm really struggling with pumping overnight. I'm ok if K wakes up but setting an alarm to pump sucks. Especially because it still hurts. Hugs. I alway wait 4-5 hours MOTN so I am only pumping once (MOTN). Pumping is hard yo. |

sarah your nips shouldn’t rub on the inside of the flanges. Normally your pump comes with 2 sizes try the bigger one, if you aren’t already!

I have been taking 2x Colace daily since Monday and I finally didn't feel like I was going to die when I went #2!!

MH is going to run out to pick up DD from DC as they are closing around 2 today. Figure we'll do lunch at home and then try to get her to take her nap so we maximize the work time.

sarahh, I *think* I remember that B's came off pretty early, but I could be misremembering. peachesncream, I'm team crib all the way. I would get another crib if you can swing it. Maybe check FB marketplace for a used one to save money?

sarah your nips shouldn’t rub on the inside of the flanges. Normally your pump comes with 2 sizes try the bigger one, if you aren’t already! I’m using the bigger ones. I think more than just my nipple is being pulled in. The standard size is definitely too small though. I just ordered these insert things that are supposedly more comfortable and decrease the flange size just a bit. They aren’t supposed to be here until the 9th though. |

Another uneventful NST today, had my GBS swab and my first cervical check. Zero progress... *womp womp*
My last two fasting numbers were high and she increased my meds again and all of a sudden started throwing out an induction date of 38 weeks (two weeks away) if "my numbers stay high". My numbers have been fine except for the last two fasting numbers. I feel like I keep getting different info from her as to how far she is going to let me go. I need to work on going with the flow since none of this in in my control anyway.

All of your good vibes and thoughts would be so appreciated. Trying not to freak out at the thought of the surgery but I'm sure as time goes on I'll get worse

Dr appointment for L this morning! He weight gain was good since discharge. Little guys is 7lb5oz! 😍 M had his first day at preschool this morning and L had his first target trip! 😊 I have to go wash all the pump parts and bottles now, I am considering buying another grass thingy even though I have 2 already! 😜 love those things!

I’m at the midwife and I gained 5 lbs in 2 weeks. Ughhhhh. 😩😩😩 Water weight girl!! I’ve officially gained 60 total and it makes me want to cry. Even though everyone says I don’t look it so I’m just telling myself it’s water weight lol |

Hi people. Sorry about all the nasty weather everyone is getting! Excited for all the new babies coming...I hope mine comes soon!!! 38w3d today & just getting impatient. DD came at 38w5d so I’ve been counting to that day but I feel like he will probably take longer.
I had to pick up my girlfriend & her kids from the airport today. Drove her minivan to get them & omg I can’t wait to have one. Only annoying thing was the security lady who was monitoring the baggage claim pickup...usually you can park & wait a few minutes, even if there’s a lot of cars waiting. Well no cars there & I parked bc I wanted to be right there when my friend came out with her two little kids (2yo & 9mo), their car seats & all their luggage. Well this lady took her job too seriously & started sassing me about how I couldn’t be there, I was breaking the law, didn’t I see the signs (no I didn’t lol). I explained the situation & how I wasn’t blocking any cars & she would not let up! So I just drove the loop for 10 minutes.
Well it gets better. My friend calls & says she set out the car seats on the curb & was going back in to get the bags. So I pull up, park the car & start loading up the car seats. This same crazy lady comes up to me & tries to tell me I can’t park there unless my people are physically standing on the curb 🤨 I was like “LADY THIS IS THEIR LUGGAGE THEY ARE RIGHT INSIDE THAT DOOR GETTING THE REST” haha and she said to me “oh really. Where are they? You can’t be here unless they are out here so you need to leave” as they are walking out the door lol. She stood there waiting for them to reach the car & watched us load up the car bc she didn’t believe me!! And then she was like “oh by the way there’s that sign I was telling you about.” Omggggg I was about to punch her.
Tl;dr... crazy airport lady got all my pregnant wrath and I’m not sorry about it!
