librariangirl Honestly, I don't know exactly what they tested for. I would assume yes if it's a common cause of RPL? But I will definitely check. ***TW*** I'm so sorry for your losses. I'm so thankful they were able to find a cause and help you with a healthy pg! orangehibiscus Sorry I forgot to add, no I haven't talked to the RE's office about last cycle - last they said was get an SA and try on our own 3 more months as long as the results are normal. When it was happening I just felt like I was being ridiculous and didn't feel like I could call and ask to get a beta on a natural cycle since I wasn't actually in treatment with them yet. But now I really regret it. I plan to tell him what happened at our next consult (if one's needed) and ask for his take. On a positive note, I had a blazingly positive OPK yesterday (CD13) so I'm excited to hopefully O so soon!

sunshiney I don’t actually know if it’s a common test for RPL or not. TW They tested me when there was a threat of MC at 8wks with my son. He almost completely stopped growing from 8-10wks pregnant, and that’s when they did the testing, and found the blood clotting disorders. End TW YAY for a +OPK! Fingers crossed for you!

The mental aspects are definitely a struggle sunshiney! It's definitely hard not to take it personally and feel inadequate. I'm so glad your bump is just a clogged pore/zit! That's great news. I'm so sorry for your losses! It's normal to worry about how your next pregnancy will turn out. I worry about that too. I have everything crossed that your next pregnancy is textbook normal! TW Loss The first time I got pregnant, it was a cancelled Femara TI cycle. I O'd on CD39 or something like that, so it was basically a natural cycle. My RE still did betas, even though it was a cancelled treatment cycle. I hope that never happens to you again, but if it does, I would definitely call for a beta. End TW Yay for a + OPK! Have all the sex!

CD1 for me today. So I’m not crushed this time around at least. Looks like femara has definitely lengthened my LP so I knew what to expect. Good news is that I basically had a textbook cycle, O’d on cd13 with a 14 day LP. So the meds are doing their job. Now I just need some luck!
It is going to be very interesting fitting the sex in this cycle. We are going out of town and it is not going to be relaxing. We are going to be exhausted and sex when exhausted doesn’t always end well for us. Oh well. We’ll make it work as best we can.

obscureference I'm sorry for AF arriving, but I'm so glad that the meds worked so well! As far as the stressed/tired baby-making sex (recipe for frustration, I agree!), might alcohol help? That's helped me through some "scheduled" sex nights. -_- Or maybe going with a different time of day than usual where you guys might be less stressed? Regardless, I hope it ends up going surprisingly well!

Sorry for CD1 obscureference! Scheduled sex can be the worst, especially when you are exhausted. I agree with sunshiney that maybe some alcohol will help! Good luck!

Sorry for CD1 obscureference, but I’m glad the meds are working! I third adding alcohol into the mix. A little relaxation can go a long way. AFM, I had 19 vials of blood drawn today, an SIS I have to schedule on CD1, and a 24hr urine catch. The cherry on the freaking sundae of awfulness: I have the flu. 😭 I’m CD12 now, so this cycle looks like a bust. There’s no way I could have sex feeling like I do. On a positive note, I met the fertility therapist today for the first time, and I really like her, so that’s good. I have another appt with her in 3wks.

Holy cow that's a lot of blood taken librariangirl! I had a SIS and it was so much better than my HSGs! I'm sorry you have the flu! I hope you feel better soon. I'm glad you had a good meeting with the fertility therapist!

librariangirl ugh so sorry for the flu! And the SIS isn’t too bad at all, TMI, but it just feels gross when you stand up. obscureference sorry for CD1. I think adding a bit of alcohol is probably a good idea too. sunshiney I have borderline high clotting levels, and my OB/Gyn actually referred me to hematology for possible anti phospholipid antibody syndrome. Hematology doesn’t think I have to it, but still put me on baby aspirin. Even if they included that in your RPL testing and was all normal, it might be worth asking about? Not that aspirin is amazing, but it does help in some cases. Anecdotal but hope it could help you!

Had my baseline sono today. Small cyst but I’m ok to start the meds tonight. I feel like I’m an old hand at this now which is not a good feeling lol. I try to change things every cycle so this time I am cutting out my last soda 😭. I’ve slowly cut it down to one soda per day and now I’m going to drop that and just drink water. We are also trying to minimize our use of plastics, which is way harder than I realized so we’re just trying to reduce instead of eliminate because everything is made of plastic!!!!! I’ve also decided to take a break from OPKs this month. Timing is going to be a pain anyway, no sense making myself even crazier trying to pee on things out in public. librariangirl, how is your Ava going? I really want one. Thinking I might try it next cycle if I can talk MH into the expense.

Glad you can get started obscureference! I hope cutting out sodas and reducing your exposure to plastics helps! AFM... I took my last Provera on Saturday, and now I'm just waiting on CD1, which feels like might be today!

obscureference glad everything looked good, and good luck at no soda and avoiding plastics! My Ava is going well, but with the flu it’s a little tricky. There isn’t anything I can see to make note of fever (like you can in FF, so I’m just making note in the notes field). I’d definitely recommend it though! It’s so easy to use! orangehibiscus I hope CD1 shows up soon!

CD1 for me!! I never thought I would be excited to say that! I'll call the RE's office tomorrow and let them know so they can send in my Femara and schedule my monitoring ultrasound. I think I'm still doing 75mg of Follistim too, but I'll have to double check that. Thanks obscureference and librariangirl!

librariangirl I seem to remember that there's a "sick" symptom that you can check, and it will make that day's temp turn into an open circle? But I'm remembering this from a hundred years ago. orangehibiscus Woohoo for a new cycle! obscureference Congrats on quitting soda! That is not easy. I hope it helps you feel great! Plastic is so, so hard to avoid. We bought a set of glass Pyrex, but honestly I still use the plastic lock n lock for storage, just not for heating up.

Hey ladies, have/do any of you take Tylenol or Advil while taking letrozole? I usually only get a mild headache that I can relieve with a nap, but the combination of meds, quitting caffeine, and being at the very beginning of a cold have made my headaches a bit worse. I will call the RE’s office tomorrow but thought I’d ask here to see what you all have done. Thanks!

You can take either obscureference, unless you have a different medical reason you can't like liver or kidney damage, etc. My Letrozole headaches aren't really bad enough to take anything for them, but I would take either med.

**TW** I hadn't been feeling well last weekend, so decided to just take a test Sat evening at 10 DPO. So shocked to see a faint line. Slightly darker Sun AM, so I went and got a FRER and a digital and both were positive. Beta today was 166! RE office was happy with that, but- since it's a spontaneous pregnancy they are releasing me already to my OB/GYN and not even checking a repeat beta. I'm hoping my OB/GYN will order one for me when I call tomorrow. I'm terrified of losing it, but keep trying to tell myself that for now, I am pregnant.
