Random though, but do you have those Brunswick style fuzzy sheets on their beds? On his bed he does, not on L's Lol now I am curious... do go on... We put them on DDs bed. And randomly she started vomited each night. Vomit 2-6 times a night. Fine in the am. Repeat off and on for 4 weeks. She told us she didn’t like the sheets. We removed them and the vomiting stopped. Perhaps not related but after intense researching online apparently the little fuzzys fluff off the sheets and can irritate them.

Because he literally only throws up at our house, at night, like once per week. And my mom got me all paranoid about a gas leak lol even though we have detectors on and working. That would be such an easy fix!

Appointment went well. We are trying a new stimulate medication that is Not suppose to impact appetite. It’s a pill we can crush. OT referral and she’s going try to find a work around for the 20 visits. She spent a lot of time with us and asked lots of questions.

Hi! Not sure when I last updated; it's been a whirlwind here.
My mom ended up being hospitalized with pneumonia before Christmas, she was finally discharged on Sunday. She's doing much better, but now we are dealing with making all of her catch-up appointments and getting her transferred from chemo to HRT. This is not easy because I am too tired and pregnant to deal with this stuff anymore.
Shortly after Christmas, kiddo got sick and started throwing up everywhere. Luckily it only seemed to be a 24 hour virus; unluckily I caught it. I ended up having to go to the ER for an IV of fluids and enti-emetics (it took Zofran, Benadryl, and something else before the vomiting slowed down). I was down for the count for 3 days and there is a still a frozen pile of vomit in my driveway.
I'm trying to get my husband to understand that there's no more "we'll do it later" when it comes to getting ready for this baby. We are out of "later". He doesn't seem to get it. We have a bunch of stuff to get done (get our bedroom tidied up so we can put up the bassinet, move kiddo from the nursery to his own room, get the newborn stuff down from the attic and wash and put it up, arrange for childcare for kiddo for when the big day comes, etc) and are running out of time to do it. I can only squeeze in so much between still working full-time, watching the kiddo and taking care of mom's stuff.
Speaking of work, I just don't care anymore. I'm literally just counting down the days. I have no leave left, or else I would be gone.

Whoa– there's an article in the NY Times that one of my former college professors has been accused of sexual misconduct by 4 women (former students). I'm not surprised. I wonder if anyone else ends up going down.

girlonabike, i'm sorry it's been so rough. I hope it gets easier...how much longer do you have again? My advice, do what needs to be done now. like get your room ready for bassinet - IMO, moving kiddo into his own room is something that can wait, I am assuming baby will be in your room for some weeks. Get child care arranged for day of. And have some stuff down and cleaned ready to use... Be kind to yourself. The last few weeks are super hard when working and chasing a toddler around. especially when sick. I'm glad your mom is feeling better.

girlonabike I was wondering how things were going for you. Sorry it's been a bit of a shit show. When is baby day? I agree with RunsforWineandCarbs, and just focus on the must do's. I hope YH gets it together and does some of them. I know my DH prefers if I make a list for him (seriously he asks for them). It helps to put things into perspective and prioritize. It also sounds like him doing some of these things may help to relieve some anxiety over the new baby. Hugs. ETA: the list also helps reduce me from being (or sounding) like a nag.

jedi sounds like a great first appointment! So glad you have someone in your corner. redandblue yeah for original move in date!!! coconutbacon woah! girlonabike I agree with RunsforWineandCarbs and redandblue . Focus on priorities and make a list. I'm a huge list person, it helps keep me organized and I can see that progress is being made. Hugs lady, go easy on yourself. Remember as long as you have diapers, clothes, place for sleep, and way to feed the other stuff will come later. Peekaru I love a good walkabout. CestLaVie I hope the sickness leaves your house soon! Betweenthelines I want an update on the houses!

Either it was something she ate this morning or a super quick bug. Either way, she has been great all day - especially after a nap! Crossing my fingers it stays this way and noone else gets sick.

girlonabike, oh my goodness. you have so much on your plate. Baby is at term, no? I agree with the other posters, just get the minimum done ( like childcare for your kiddo) and then work on the rest. I hope your H starts pitching in and I hope your mom heals well.

Mil is coming tomorrow to spend some time in Isaacs class. Should be fun. I am slightly annoyed because she’s doing her thing tomorrow and I called around 5pm today to see when she’s coming and she decided to do a shape/color game. That’s fine. But asking me if the school has construction paper and a machine called a cricket to cut out shapes for her thing that is less than 24 hours away? It’s stressing me out! Sh s not prepared! She needs 18 circles, 18 squares, 18 rectangles and 18 triangles! So I did this. Really quickly and sent her a photo. now she’s asking me if I can cut more shapes to use to make pizzas out of shapes if there’s time. She also asked if the school has paper plates that they can use. No. The school shouldn’t have to provide this? Am I right? So I guess I’ll prep all this crap. Just what i wanted to do.

Murder house is out. It could have had a chance if the work done in it was done right. It looked like it was all done by day laboreres with their eyes closed. Crooked tile cuts, crooked trim and molding, messed up base board heaters. They used some expensive fixutres, but just didn't install anything properly or neatly.
Second house was beautiful, but was a little on the smaller side. Yard was very small too. But we are going to go back to it on Sunday during the day for the open house to get a better look at it..
To be continued...

Thanks. It's a tough market right now. Especially with the holidays. I have high hopes that things will start popping up soon though. We're looking at a March 1 closing date on our house, so at least we have an idea of that now.

H helped me cut out 60 more little triangles, circles and squares. 60 of each. As in 180 total. Tomorrow I’m going to need to pick up some paper plates.
