We have a baby girl arriving in a few weeks and I'm just looking for unbiased opinions! DH and I are both going to try to narrow down our lists over the next few days. I'm leaning towards using Pearl for her MN (family name). For first names, I like: Lydia Vivian Eliza Clara Roselyn Gillian Veronica
Any feedback is appreciated!

I like Lydia, Eliza and Clara the best. How are you pronouncing Roselyn? What about Rosalind instead?

I love Gillian so hard. If I had another daughter it would be my top choice.
Gillian Pearl is a winner.

For me, Clara Pearl is the clear winner (and an absolutely gorgeous name). Eliza Pearl is the only other one I would personally consider. I like the name Veronica, but Veronica Pearl somehow sounds like an author of romance novels to me. So I guess if that doesn't bother you, I'd keep it on the list as well. The only name I really, really hate is Gillian. Lydia, Roselyn, and Vivian are just meh to me (and for some reason I've always felt like Vivian sounds like a complete b*tch).

My faves from your list are Lydia Pearl Eliza Pearl Vivian Pearl
I don't particularly like Gillian. No real reason, just doesn't seem as good as any of the others you listed.

Lydia and Clara are my favorites. Eliza is nice too. I’ll agree with PP that Rosalind is a great name but Roselyn looks like a smush name and less sophisticated. Gillian is just a little hard sounding to my ears. Veronica seems too frilly and a little dated. Vivian is wildly popular near me and I never understand why. I just don’t love it. I think Lydia Pearl is wonderful.

You have a great list! She will have a lovely name.
Lydia Vivian Clara Roselyn
are my favorites. I don't love Veronica or Gillian. They are fine names, just not my taste. I think you might run into pronunciation problems with Gillian but that's easily fixed with one interaction with a person.

+1 to the mis-pronounciation of Gillian. My sister has that name. Drove her nuts as a kid to always have to correct people. Otherwise it's a great name that's not super common.

Other than Roselyn (prefer Rosalind), I like all your names. Eliza and Clara (and the variants) are quite popular but if that doesn't bother you, go for it! If you want less common, Veronica & Gillian would be best.

Thanks for all the feedback! As for Roselyn, we def want the "rose" sound at the beginning and not "roz" like Rosalind. I like Rosalie too but it sounds like crap with our last name!
The Gillian pronunciation thing is something I was concerned about...but I do love it!
DH still has like 20 names on his list. We're going to set up a bracket (a la March Madness) and see where that takes us!!
