Sorry for the rough night tgrimes. Can you lay down when your H gets up? lfig I can't imagine giving this age that many meds. Evie fights me to take one, you are amazing! Evie woke me up at 3:30 saying her belly hurt. I gave her a Pepto tab and she went back to her bed. When she woke at 7:30, she said it still hurt, so I gave her another Pepto. At 9 she had diarrhea then threw up. She seems to be fine. Trying to decide if we keep her home and cancel our party. I told H we would decide by noon. I only have to clean Hs bathroom, then the house is ready, regardless. I'm glad I didn't clean it yesterday, since she threw up on the floor in front of the toilet.

Re: diaper bags, I'm not a backpack person at all, but the new one from Freshly Picked is gorgeous. If I was in the market for a new diaper bag, that one might convert me. I've never been a backpack person either, but I'm thinking with 3 it'd be ideal to have both hands free and a bulky bag not flopping all over! I do love th he FP one.

I took E out for our last shared breakfast of the year then we hit up toddler time at sky zone. A few other friends showed up and there was a lot of running and jumping. They had a workout class going. It looked like fun but a lot of work too.

I’m Not really a backpack person either, but I also looked at the FP one! I like the idea of being more hands free though. But the one I got has a long enough strap to carry cross body so I think I’ll like it!

My petunia pickle bottom diaper bag came with straps that you can use as a back pack or as a purse.

mwhip Lol to me ever getting to nap. He got up at 9:45 and watched TV while I got breakfast ready and dinner in the crock pot. I’m kind of annoyed with him, if you couldn’t tell. I asked him to play with H so I could chop stuff up and he just puts him in the floor while he watches tv or is on his phone. Naturally H cries and then comes crawling to me. WTF. Just play with him. He went to lunch with a friend. Once he gets back I’m taking H to urgent care. Rant over.

Even my H played hide and seek with E yesterday while I cleaned so she wasn't in the way.

Evie just had a little bit of diarrhea. I can't decide what to do. I guess I'll wait a few more hours. I just hate to cancel last minute and leave people with no plans. But also don't want to send a sick kid to my mom's, who already has a sinus headache.

tgrimes you have every right to be upset. Taking care of your child is more important then a lunch.

H is currently napping. The first attempt failed so it may be a one nap day. I have no problem taking both kids to urgent care (I usually do because M is glued to my side). I just assume he’ll be back before H wakes up.
I’m just annoyed that I feel like I do freaking everything for the kids. I know it usually works out that the mothers do more but at least get in the floor and play with your kids.
He gets upset when H starts crying when sitting on his lap on the couch. Sorry dude. He’s not happy sitting quietly watching football/basketball. He wants to play!

My new diaper bag is way bigger than I need to it be. I can't remember what is suppose to go in it. I remember my first one always busting at the seams but DS1 also spit up on himself 100 times a day so always needed a ton of burp clothes, bibs, and clothes.

I laugh at how much more full my diaper bag was for C then it was for L! C was also a biiiiig spit up baby and L wasn't. Mostly I just realized I don't have to bring the whole house with me!

I canceled our plans to go to my sisters tonight since T was throwing up yesterday. Did not want to be the ones to infect everyone even though he seems fine today. She insists it's fine and wants us to come anyway.

joelies our sky zone has toddler tinge where it is just under 5yrs I think. It is much better than if there were a lot of older kids. I think I might need to see if they have it today Ours is only on tues and thurs morning. I’m planning to take my girls soon, S has never gone but I think she’ll like it.

Back from the grocery store where DH forgot our meat and the girl who runs the front end (who loves the boys) ran out in the freezing cold to make sure we got it. They don't pay her enough for that! Colin's new coat arrived and he loves it. Thank goodness, he's been trying to NOT wear his old one. Also if anyone is still looking at coats, I am obsessed with mine. It may have been my stand-in but it's so cozy and warm, plus I took a photo at running group with one of my favorite runners - who is tiny - and I didn't look big or puffy. It's Eddie Bauer and is on major sale right now. The tag says $300 but DH paid well under $200. I love it. I was actually just looking at coats there last night online. I like that they have petite options since I’m 5’2.

Hey everyone! DH let me sleep in this morning and made muffins for breakfast (just the cheap packets from the store that you add like water and an egg to. flamingo these are so airy I could probably eat 6, but not if they were really dense muffins). H and I went to the theaters and watched despicable me 3, which was really funny. Then we stopped at the liquor store for champs and since starbucks is next door I also got a frapp. It’s -9 but I don’t care, I still like them. Now we’re hanging out at home. I’m going to take S to Walmart with me to find party hats and poppers for tonight. I want to get a backpack diaper bag. Right now I’m using H’s old skip hop backpack and it’s hard to wear over one shoulder. I want to get one kind of like sands42.

I have a cheap black back pack I bought for Disney last summer. I guess I can use that when I don't need my whole giant diaper bag.

Once I realized I didn’t have to take the whole house with me every time we left the house, I started having S carry her own diaper bag. I got one of the pre-k bags from PBK’s. Perfect size for a few diapers, a small package of wipes and a snack or change of clothes or sippy cup.
