You guys and your fake IDs are killing me, lol. I never had a fake, my brother is 4 years older than me, so he or his friends, or one if my friends was always dating someone of age, to buy for us. I managed to sprain my ankle in my office this afternoon. I stepped wrong on the base of my chair and it rolled in, then popped back out. Fucking hurt. I hate having weak ankles. My boyfriend at the time was 21, do it was really just to be able to get into clubs and bars with him. He got me the license. This was me too. MH (who was bf at time) was 21 and my sister was 22. So one of my sisters friends gave me her old license when she got a new one because everyone always said we looked alike. I used it to get in but usually didn’t drink much, if at all because I’ve never been a big drinker. So I usually drove.

Pouring one out for your honeycrisps wineallthetime . I'm cracking up at you bad girls and tour fake IDs and chalking. I was such a goodie goody. I didn't even drink until a couple months after my 21st birthday. So consider that with your research guster --with total nerds it may not matter if you're the youngin of the group. I’m on the goodie-two-shoes bench. The first time I got drunk was when I was 19, and it was few and far between after that. In HS we had “parties” at my friends’ houses but there was never any alcohol. Karaoke, pool, movies and things like that. I'll sit on your bench with you. I think my first drink in college was vodka and pineapple, lol. I let my hair down a bit more sophomore year, and then junior and senior years I was 21 so it was more accessible and legal, ha. But being a control freak, it was pretty rare that i got really drunk or sick.

I cannot drunk SI to this day.

I started going to the bars when I was 18 😬 I had a random fake ID someone gave me and then I used my sisters. I think I got turned down twice ever in 3 years. I’m from a college town so it was easy.

I also got my belly button pierced at 16 using my sisters ID. I basically did all the bad things.

I was the youngest and didn’t turn 21 until December of my senior year of college. Luckily my sister gave me her divers license when i was 19 or 20 so i had a solid fake ID. Aside from being the last one in my grade to turn 16 and get their drivers license, i enjoyed being the youngest in my class.

It’s been a long day here since we got such an early start. And then S only took a 1 hour nap. She usually sleeps for 2 hours.
Sierra has had several seizures this week. More than she’s had in the last month so after she had one today that was slightly different than usual I called the dr. We had just increased one of her meds last week but it’s not making any difference. The dr herself called me back this evening (usually a nurse confers with her and calls me back). She was quite concerned with the increase because we are pretty well maxed out on dosages for all 3 of the meds she’s on. So they want to do a 24 hour overnight video EEG to try and get a better picture of what’s going on. The one we did last week was just about an hour. Not enough to get a full picture. Then we are switching out one of her meds and introducing a new one. So we have to start weaning her off of the one we are eliminating, start introducing the new one, and lower a dosage on one of the others because of how it pairs with the new med. I was confused with it all after our conversation so I asked her to email me the instructions because I needed a cheat sheet. The next 6 weeks are going to have so many dosage changes as we make this transition. I’m hopeful the new med makes a difference. But we are also going to have to get labs done fairly regularly because the new med can have some side effects and potentially cause liver issues so we have to keep an eye on her liver enzymes amongst other things.

lfig I'd be confused too. Poor S, I hope all this helps you find something to reduce or eliminate the seizures.

I’m sure it will surprise no one that I was drinking in the 7th grade. And smoking cigarettes and weed.
The first time I threw up from alcohol I was 14 and drank too much goldschlagger. The next time it was too much bourbon.
I can’t drink or smell either one of those anymore.

Also my mother thought I was the “good one.”
Nope. Just smarter at hiding it than my sister was.

I'm sorry, lfig. I hope the med switch does the trick! How confusing. I can barely keep track of my own meds and I take the same 3 pills every day!

I never had a fake, but my hometown bar used X's on minors in marker. A quick trip to the bathroom and I was good to go. In highschool we just went out to "the spot" (aka a field with a bonfire)
In college I knew the bartenders and bouncers so I didn't have issues getting in to the bars in my little college town.

I got sober at 19 so I've never had a legal drink. I think I had my first drink at 15.

Maybe because I grew up in a small town, we never tried to go to the bar underage. We always drank at someone's house or went to the lake or sat somewhere and drank. Driving to Kansas City was too far in all of our shit cars! Same. Corn field bon fires and cheap beer. And half the time, someone's dad bought the beer lol.

I got drunk once in high school - on a trip to Spain where I was of legal age. I never smoked cigarettes and only tried weed a fee times. College was another thing altogether, but being a little college town, the bars relied on us to survive. So my fake ID that said I was a short, Italian 26 year old never failed me.

My bday is at the end of the summer so I got the milestone bdays after most of my friends. I’m sure you will all remember how piercings became very popular while we were in HS. I wanted my belly button done so bad but my father wouldn’t let me. I had to wait til I was in college when I finally turned 18. Also bars- had to wait until the start of my senior year in college. That was tough. Everyone feel sorry for me. 😋 My mom took me to get my belly button pierced at 15 💁🏻♀️ I got mine even younger. I would never let my daughter get that as young as my mom did. I still can't believe she agreed lol.

No one really mentions C being gifted ::shruggy guy:: Just high energy and no fear. I'm glad he will have an extra year before kindergarten. His writing is backwards, all over the page and often upside down. He also is still a touch behind in speech so it's good to have the extra time to catch up. H is in the same boat. She can’t write her name yet, mispronounces lots of words, etc. I have no interest in her starting K before 2019. ETA: she can count to 15 which impressed her teacher, so maybe she’ll be good at math. Same for M. He's great with numbers and shapes and colors. But no interest in letters at all. I was the youngest in my class and hated it. I would rather he be on the older side.

I remember for Christmas in maybe 6th grade getting 2 pairs of cords (one pair was pale mint green...yikes) with coordinating plaid flannel shirts, to be worn over matching thermal henley's. Why my mother ever thought we would need that many layers in FLORIDA is beyond me, but I thought I was stylin'.

No cigarettes, no weed, no other drugs. No fake IDs. I had my first drink like a month before I turned 20. I guess I'm lame.

The kids in Cadence's class, including her, really started catching on to letters when they started using them with kids' names. So when we do letters it is a lot of "D for David, G for Gary"....not those names, those are just examples.

I'm drinking beer for the first time in weeks. I had such a shirt fuse by the end of the fag with E and he was being such a good boy. But I had agreed that H could go out so here I am. I'm hoping I have the morning off of responsibilities so I can recenter.

I didn't drink for the first time until I was 17. It was all downhill from there.
I did so many drugs. Not much weed, but acid, X, and K, mostly.
That rave scene, man.
