Does the party end at 2 or start at 2?

I'm sure this is not surprising coming from me, but I say get the pizza. I feel like there should always be a little something more than snacks and cake, no matter what the time. Pizza is the best option because it is easy to order (you can even have it delivered) and almost everyone likes it.
IF YOU DON'T LIKE PIZZA, I DON'T WANT TO KNOW YOU.

Probably can go either way - pizza or snacks - but I would rather have the food than not.

Serve a meal and include the parents in the # of people to be served.

Serve a meal and include the parents in the # of people to be served. I already planned on this, I was more trying to figure out if people would eat lunch before & then not eat if we had pizza...

I could eat lunch at home and still snag a slice of pizza at a party two hours later. I have a bottomless stomach.
My go to food for parties is - Pizza Veggie tray Cheese & crackers Hummus & pita chips Some sort of cut up fruit

Most will eat before, and will feed their kids since 2 is not a meal time and hangry kids is not a good time for anyone. It's 100% unnecessary at a non-meal time party, but nothing is hurt by having it available.

I would get the pizza. I'll never turn down a slice so I feel like people would eat it regardless of whether or not they had lunch already. Or maybe that's just me?

Team always pizza. We were recently at a party at kid's bff's house & were super confused when there was only just cake & chips out. DS was complaining he was hungry, it was weird. Not good. They are semi new to this country to I let them slide with the "regional" excuse but pizza. Always pizza.

It's not hard to put "Meal will be provided" or "Join us for pizza & cake!" on the invite.

I think the answer should always be pizza.
That said, I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if there was no "meal" at that time.

I voted cake and snacks. I did a 2pm start time for my DD's party and did heavy hors d'oeuvres (chik-fil-a platter, veggie tray, hot cheese dips, etc). I did not want to go full-out meal since it was not a "meal time" and figured most food would be wasted. I also wanted ppl to be able to graze as they wished throughout the party and not have a set "OK, food is served now" sort of thing.

It's not hard to put "Meal will be provided" or "Join us for pizza & cake!" on the invite. Yes if this was on the invite for a 2pm party I'd put off lunch. For a 2pm party in any event I'd probably feed my kid an early lunch but he usually eats a pretty substantial snack in the afternoon so he would eat pizza and cake at 3 or 4 as well

I voted for cake and snacks because all the food never gets eaten when I host at 2, but pizza is always a good idea.

I always say I'm just going to do snacks, but it always ends up being a meal. So I voted for pizza, etc.

So I put pizza because I mean who wouldn't choose pizza if that's an option, but now seeing the party is at 2, it's not really necessary. BUT, I would bet it gets eaten either way. Mmm. Pizza.

I always like to serve food at parties no matter the time. Mostly because I always like to go to parties where food is served.

I just had DD's bday party at 2:30-4:30 and served lots of snacks and cupcakes. That's the same for other kid parties I've been to around that time.
